Why does my game pause for 10 seconds after I die then I respawn?

Your computer is lagging or smthn, maybe if you added a video it would be easier to find the problem.

If this happens it means that ur CPU is probably overheating, try lowering your video settings or download Optifine.

Try minimizing or full screening ur game to see if that helps improve ur fps or fixes the lag.

Had this issue try changing you mc version to 1.8.9. If it's already on download some fps booster mods on forge

You need to get the following,

• Fps boost texture packs
• Fps boost clients.
• A better cpu.
• Better Gpu.

Dont worry, it will only cost 300+ dollars!
