Why do you guys prefer PvP 1.8.9 than 1.9+?

Why do you guys prefer 1.8.9 than 1.9+? I personally like 1.9+ but most of you guys prefer 1.8.9. Why?

1.8.9 PvP requires more skills and you can more with strafes, w tap etc.

1.9+ pvp needs " strategy " , they just added a cooldown , there no strategy while 1.8.9 or lower pvp needs actually strategy like strafing , wtap stap blockhit etc , in 1.9+ pvp you just usually hit trade ( bad thing cus only person with good armor wins ) and 1 misclick can completely kill you

Also in 1.8.9 combat you need to practice aim a lot and in 1.9 u can aim too easily so there isn't any difference between experienced players and new players .


and 1.9 is the stone axe update , mining diamonds for weaponry is just useless
