ON SEXUAL ORIENTATION & GENDER IDENTITY

While Eastern Orthodox churches are autocephalous, there is consensus on official LGBTQ policy. For example, the Greek Orthodox Archdiocese lists homosexuality beside fornication, adultery, abortion and abusive sexual behavior as “immoral and inappropriate forms of behavior in and of themselves, and also because they attack the institution of marriage and the family.” It adds that, “the Orthodox Church believes that homosexual behavior is a sin.

Leviticus 18:22 "Do not practice homosexuality, having sex with another man as with a woman. It is a detestable sin."

"If a man practices homosexuality, having sex with another man as with a woman, both men have committed a detestable act. They must both be put to death, for they are guilty of a capital offense."

Jude 7 And don't forget Sodom and Gomorrah and their neighboring towns, which were filled with immorality and every kind of sexual perversion. Those cities were destroyed by fire and serve as a warning of the eternal fire of God's judgment

Leviticus 18:22 "Do not practice homosexuality, having sex with another man as with a woman. It is a detestable sin."
Homosexuality could be more general and include women having a relationship with each other, not just men as stated in the statement. So if two men had it, it's a detestable sin, but if two women did, it's fine?
The statement is either not specific/accurate in the topic, or it's completely forged by someone who had no thoughts about what they're talking about, or the translator of the book couldn't find the words, or the source you got this from is forged, with all due respect to the religion that statement belongs to.

Homosexuality is more than just having sex. There are people in the LGBTQ+ who are asexual; means they do not prefer to be in any sexual relationship. Does that also mean it's a detestable sin even though it's not sexual? I'm confused...

Jude 7 And don't forget Sodom and Gomorrah and their neighboring towns, which were filled with immorality and every kind of sexual perversion. Those cities were destroyed by fire and serve as a warning of the eternal fire of God's judgment
While it is correct that those tribes had their punishment, but do you really think it's due to their sexual orientation?
They were not punished because of their gender or orientation, they have done miserable things to deserve that punishment, and the Quran has mentioned those things, but unfortunately, people only understood the story from their own point of view, not from what the Holy book has described.

Well that's a completely different argument, but let me phrase it this way. If it's normal, why can't a man and a man have a child (no science, just 2 men) same goes for women.
