Invis Pots Visiblity (The Bridge)

I wanted to ask if the nametag still shows when you are invisible in the game because when i used Invis Pots today a guy name nope_91 was able to see me and started shooting arrows at me. I was very well careful using the pots, i had my armor off and nothing on my hands either... Please clear this doubt.

players can still see your nametag, idk why but I think that Thiemo said this is 1.8.9 bug, idk
