Blocks not breaking

Blocks are glitching, when i am breaking the block it doesnt break and come back and my game leave the server by saying "time out"

Try to check your ping, it might be you're lagging thats why you can't mine blocks.

'Time out' comes when the player is lagging or your internet/network is disconnected.

Yes, ping might be one of the reasons you are facing this issue.
Another reason could be the Minecraft version you're playing on.
I'd recommend using 1.8.9 for a better experience.
