No... not for me. And I use pots quite frequently. At least every 2 games or so. And I always have a Speed and a Jump on me at all times. So dunno what you're on about. I'd suggest for you to report the bug with video evidence of it happening. Because I haven't heard about this bug before, so video evidence of it will be quite helpful.

ps: i'm always playing on like 120 - 130 ping so it can't be a ping problem
