We're excited to let you know that we're launching a new game mode with cool new features and improvements. It's been a little while since we've introduced something new, so we think you'll really like what we have for you.
JartexNetwork will officially release Gens!
Gens is a gamemode where grinding is the main focus. Build up your Island alone, or with your friends, and earn money by farming, fishing, foraging, or slaying monsters in the Dark Zone, there is always a new adventure ready for you to embark upon.
The goal is to become the richest player and build up your own empire on your Island. With the help of generators that will produce resources while you are online on your Island, you will have a great source of passive income as well! Explore the islands, venture through a storyline of quests, and become the #1 Island on the server.

What is Gens?Before we can get into the features it is important you are familiar with the concept of Gens.
Gens is a new popular Tycoon style gamemode that we are excited to be launching on to JartexNetwork.
There are two important aspects of Gens, the Tycoon gamemode: Creating resources and managing money.
Generators for passive income.First, let's talk about "Gens," which stands for "Generators." In this mode, you can set up machines or systems that automatically produce different kinds of resources for you. It's like having a helper in the game that keeps making things for you without you having to do all the work. These resources could be things like ores, materials, or items that you need to play the game. More information about the generators will be further in this announcement.
Explore different worlds as you level-upThe Tycoon aspect of this gamemode is simple, there are two worlds that you can explore. Each world has its own zones where you can farm, forage, fish, mine, and slaughter. These tasks will give you drops and experience. The drops can be sold for money, and the experience is used to level up in-game to unlock more items from the shop, more generators, more quests, and just more things to work with.
Enhance your gameplay with our Resourcepack
Before we get into the features of this gamemode let's talk about the thing that wraps up the gamemode as a whole, the resourcepack.
Elevate your gameplay with a custom resourcepack.In our Gens game mode, we've taken steps to elevate your gameplay experience even further. To achieve this, we're excited to introduce a resource pack that's accessible to everyone. This resource pack is designed to add an extra layer of enjoyment by offering custom textures for your tools and in-game interfaces (GUIs), providing a more distinct visual experience. Alongside this, you can anticipate enhanced clarity in your game overview, along with the inclusion of custom sound effects and various other enhancements that contribute to an enriched gameplay atmosphere.
Want to go back to the basics?For those players who prefer the original Minecraft aesthetic, rest assured that we've taken your preferences into consideration. Our game mode has been structured to accommodate gameplay without the resource pack. However, we enthusiastically recommend embracing the resource pack for a heightened experience. It's our belief that utilizing the resource pack will significantly augment your time spent in the Gens game mode.
Build up your empire on your Island with generatorsUpon entering the Gens game mode for the first time, you will find yourself on your own island. Here, you'll embark on a straightforward quest that serves as your introduction to the gameplay. This quest will guide you through the initial steps of setting up your first generators.
It's a user-friendly way to help you kickstart your experience and get accustomed to the mechanics of resource generation.
By following this quest, you'll quickly become acquainted with the fundamental aspects of the game mode and be well-prepared to dive into the world of automated resource production.
What are generators?In the Gens game mode, generators are special blocks you can put on your island.
They work like magic machines – when someone's on your island, they make resources for you without you doing anything.
You can buy these generators from the in-game shop using a command called /shop.
Each generator makes a specific kind of resource, so you can choose what you want. The cool thing is the better the generator, the more valuable the stuff it makes. You can trade these resources for in-game money using the /sell command.
Manage your Island.Just like the islands on our SkyBlock gamemodes you will have the freedom to set permissions for players, and roles. As well as manage public warps and private island homes. You can modify the island to whatever you want and/or need. The possibilities are endless and it's a crucial part of becoming the best Island out there. If you need help with managing your island you can view all the commands using /is help at any time.
Level up your personal level to unlock more features
Leveling up is really important in Gens because the higher your level, the more cool things you can do. As you level up, you'll unlock new and exciting features that enhance your gameplay experience.
Level up by grindingTo increase your level, you need to earn experience points. You can do this by spending time in different areas where you can do things like farming, foraging, fishing, mining, and defeating mobs (monsters). Basically, the more you do these activities, the more experience points you'll collect. Each different grind task also gives experience based on the difficulty of that task, the harder the task, the bigger the rewards.
Unlock different features.Think of it like a game of earning points: the more you grind and do these activities, the more points you gather, and the higher your level will become.
And as your level goes up, you'll be able to access even cooler stuff and enjoy more of what Gens has to offer.

Play through a quest storyline and explore the game
In the level rewards, you'll notice something really neat: a bunch of quests that you can play.
These quests are like missions that guide you through the Gens game mode.
They're designed to give you more information about how things work on the Tycoon Island and what's going on in the game world.
Complete quests to earn rewards and access to featuresAs you complete these quests, you'll get a better understanding of the game mode and how to make the most out of it. Think of it like a tutorial that helps you become a Gens expert. Once you've finished these quests, you'll have a solid grip on how everything works, and you'll be ready to step into a whole new world of possibilities.
March into the unknown world.It's like walking through a training course that turns you into a master of the game.
Once you've mastered the quests, you'll have the keys to explore a brand-new adventure just waiting for you in a new world.
Explore the world and the different areas
In the world of Tycoon, there are various exciting areas for you to explore.
These areas offer different experiences and activities that you can enjoy.
Once you've visited these areas at least once, there's a nifty feature you can use: quick travel. You can do this by opening the /warp menu.
Here's the cool part: this /warp menu lets you instantly teleport to the different areas you've already explored. It's like a shortcut that saves you time and effort on traveling long distances. However, it's worth noting that some of these areas might have certain level requirements. This means that in order to use the quick travel feature to a particular area, you might need to reach a specific level first.

Get ready to grind and advance into your adventure
Grinding is the key to leveling up, just like we talked about earlier. To level up, you need to earn experience points, and there are five different ways to do it. Each of these ways has its own style of play and comes with its own set of rewards. Some might be easier but give you fewer rewards, while others could be more challenging but offer greater benefits.
Start out on the farms.It all starts with farming. When you engage in farming activities, you begin your journey towards leveling up. And as you progress in farming, you'll gradually unlock more grinding tasks that you can take on. These tasks represent different ways to earn experience points and level up.
Grind to progressPicture it as a step-by-step process: you start with farming, and as you get more comfortable and skilled, you open the door to other ways of gaining experience. So, whether you're someone who enjoys a relaxed pace or loves a more intense challenge, there's a grinding task suited to your playstyle. And the exciting part is that the more you grind, the more you'll level up and uncover new opportunities in the game.

The way all beginners will start. Jump into the peaceful landscape of the Wheat Farms as you grind your way up to Level 25, where you unlock harvesting Carrots and the ability to Fish. | A unique twist on fishing. Each fish has their own rarity and strength. The rarer the fish, the longer it will take to reel in the fish. But be aware, if you don't reel in fast enough the Fish will escape. Fishing gives a lot of money, as it's a more skillful task compared to Farming. | Head into the forest where oak and birch trees are waiting for you to be chopped down. Chopping down trees is similar to farming, but more rewarding as it's not as fast, and logs take longer to regenerate. | Save the Tycoon Island from dangerous mobs. No island citizen is brave enough to enter the Darkzone but once you have unlocked the swords you might be up for the challenge. Each monster has its own unique drops which sell for a lot. Some might even say they can be used to forge valuable runes? | Way down we go, into the Crystal Shafts where valuable ores are laying around. Unlock and upgrade tools to help out the grind
In each of the grinding activities, there are specific tools designed for the job. These tools come in three different materials: wooden, stone, and iron. Each material has its own set of tools that you can use to make your grinding more effective.
Unlock better perksNow, here's the exciting part: each tool has three different tiers of upgrades. This means you can level up your tools to gain access to better perks and advantages. When you upgrade a tool, you'll unlock new and improved features that make your grinding experience even more rewarding.
You can upgrade your tools, simply by right-clicking them, which will bring up the GUI of the tool.
The bigger the betterRemember, the material of your tool matters a lot. The better the material, the more impressive the perks will be. And that's not all – the material also affects the number of enchantment slots the tool has unlocked. Enchantments are magical enhancements that can give your tools special powers, making them even more useful in your grinding adventures.
Earn Essence to enchant your toolsEach task you do for grinding earns you Essence. This Essence can be used to purchase a random enchantment for each of your tools. Upon reaching 30 Essence Levels you can purchase 1 random enchantment. These enchants will be randomly assigned with a random level, all enchants have a maximum of 3 levels, and obtaining these higher levels has a small chance to occur. You will have limited enchantment slots based on the material of the tool, so in order to add new enchants you might need to get rid of your older ones to keep your tools as good as possible.

Gather Island Stars to become the top island
Introducing Island Stars, a new twist that keeps the excitement going even after you thought the grinding was done. These stars can be obtained by making a considerable investment. The interesting thing about Island Stars is that they contribute to your ranking on the /is top list, showcasing the most impressive islands.
A bi-weekly competitionHere's the deal: Island Stars can be a bit competitive. Every two weeks, the stars will undergo a "soft reset." This means that although your total stars will still be visible, the stars that count toward your position on the /is top list will be reset to zero. To keep participating in this competition, you'll need to repurchase new stars. With this system, we're creating a bi-weekly challenge. It's like a race where different islands strive to claim the top spots and secure their victory. And as a reward, the islands that make it to the top will earn a special prize known as Jartex Iron.
In essence, Island Stars add an extra layer of competition and motivation to the game. They're a way for players to showcase their progress and compete for recognition and rewards, making the gameplay even more dynamic and engaging.
The bi-weekly payoutsThese payouts will be automatically given to the Island Leader. It's their responsibility.
1st Place Island: 5,000 Jartex Iron
2nd Place Island: 3,000 Jartex Iron
3rd Place Island: 1,500 Jartex Iron
Adopt a little friend that will give you a boost
Let's talk about pets! In the world of Tycoon, you'll find various pets, each with their own special boosts. These boosts are like little advantages that can help you in your gameplay. Pets come in different tiers, and the higher the tier, the more powerful the boosts they provide.
A helping handHere's how it works: when you have a pet, it gives you certain benefits that can make things easier or more exciting. And just like with tools, pets have tiers too. So, as you move up to higher tiers, the boosts become even more impressive, giving you a bigger edge in the game.
Grow even strongerBut that's not all – pets can also level up! You can make your pets grow stronger by using them regularly. As they level up, their abilities get even better. It's like having a loyal companion that gets stronger and more skilled the more you hang out together.
Sell your valuables in the player shops
Start off by placing down a chest with a sign saying [shop]. Once the sign has been placed down the chest will turn into a player shop.
Once the chest has been turned into a shop it is time to get started. Start out by clicking the newly created shop sign.
Now your shop menu will open up. Within this menu, you can do 4 different things, those things are:
Set your shop item - With this, you can select an item from your inventory that the shop should sell, this can be any item in the game, as long as your shop has enough stock for it you will be able to sell it!
View shop logs -Here you can view everyone that has used your shop in a small simple overview, this way you can check how your little market did while you were offline.
Select your price - Looking to buy, sell, or both? Configure your shop with a fair price and you will be able to buy items from players, sell them items to you, or even both. This will also work while you are offline.
Remove your shop - Want to move your shop somewhere else? No worries. With just a click you can remove your player shop from your island.
Participate in server events to earn more rewards
These exciting events take place every 15 minutes and run for a duration of 10 minutes. During these events, you're in for a treat. They're designed to give you a fantastic boost in a specific grinding task, making them an awesome opportunity to get involved.
Picture it like a mini-celebration that happens regularly. When a server event kicks off, it's like a spotlight shining on a particular grinding task. This task gets a temporary upgrade, making it much more rewarding and engaging. It's like a turbo boost that helps you make faster progress.
A 15-minute blast.Getting in on these events is definitely a smart move. They're a chance to enjoy a rapid boost in your chosen grinding activity, thanks to the enhanced rewards and benefits they offer. So, mark your calendar – every 15 minutes, be ready to jump into these events and make the most of their short-lived but super rewarding nature.

Stand out in style with some unique tags
Tags are a great way to stand out in chat, but as the versions went by you are now able to use more colors we decided to spice things up with these tags.
Collect every tag.You can earn tags by purchasing them in the /goldshop, or by getting a few of them available in-game.

Different tiers per tag.In order to have valuable collectibles you need to know which tag has what rarity, so that is why we divided the tags into 6 different tiers.
Tags come in 6 different tiers: Common, Rare, Epic, Legendary, Seasonal & Special.
The seasonal tags are only obtainable during the current season, after this season you will no longer be able to collect them.
The special tags are given to players for helping us out by reporting bugs, posting suggestions, and overall making Gens a more enjoyable gamemode.
