New! Spawn

Hey, adventurers! As we jump into a new season of Lifesteal at JartexNetwork, gear up for an exciting Viking theme that will wake up your adventurous heart!

Our spawn and Warzone have been transformed into a great Viking's hideout.

A new spawn and PVP arena with a Viking theme.

Are you looking for some help? There are plenty of NPCs explaining all the features.

A new seasonal crate has been added again.

New! Resourcepack

Let's get into what makes the new season of Lifesteal even more exciting before we cover the specifics: the resource pack.

Spice up your gameplay with a unique resource pack.

This season, we're starting with some cool additions: chat emotes, icons for your scoreboard and tab-list, and custom textures for special sets and weapons.

Prefer to keep it classic?

If you're a fan of the original Minecraft feeling, no worries. You can still enjoy our game mode without the resource pack.

However, we suggest giving the resource pack a try. We think it'll enhance your Lifesteal experience significantly.

New! Quest Level

We're excited to announce a new way of progression in Lifesteal, the Quest Levels!

This system is the best of both worlds, merging Player Levels and Quests into one. It's a fresh way to progress and earn rewards, making your adventure more engaging.

A brand new level

With this new system, you will get back the feature you all loved from the Player Levels, the set reward milestones to grind for.

You now have a new level, a Quest Level. This level is increased by completing quests, these quests will be activated automatically, and you do not need to purchase them anymore. Upon completing a quest, you will receive Quest Experience, this experience determines your Quest Level, which is essentially the new Player Level.

Earn great rewards.

At certain levels, you have a set reward that you can claim for reaching this level, on top of the already Quest Cases you receive from completing a quest.

So not only do you get more rewards, but you also have a goal to work towards.

Upgrade your Quest Tier.

Upgrade the tier of your active quests, upgrading a tier will make the quest harder, but will give you even better rewards. The first tier is free, but to upgrade to a higher one you will need to sacrifice 1 heart each time you want to upgrade a Quest.

New! Custom Enchantments

We will be introducing custom enchantments to our Lifesteal server.

The custom enchantments are simple basic enchantments that you can obtain from villager trading and the normal enchantment tables, you will have a chance to obtain one of these refined enchantments simply by just enchanting your items.

Swords, Axes, and Bow Enchantments:

Butchering Increase damage against passive mobs by 5% Maximum level 3	Execution Increase damage against Vindicator, Pillager, Evoker, Ravager, and Vex by 10% Maximum level 3	Quelling Increase damage against Piglin, Piglin Brute, and Hoglin by 10% Maximum level 3	Depth Crusher Increase damage against Aquatic Hostiles by 10	Hydro Aspect Increase damage against Enderman, Blaze, and Magma Cube by 5% Maximum level 3
Viper Attacks will have 10% trigger chance to apply Poison II for 5 seconds	Experiences Increase the amount of experience dropped by mobs and players by double	Scavenger Mobs sometimes drop money.	Aerohunts Increase damage against Floating/Flying mobs by 5% Maximum level 3	Minatures Stomper Increase damage against Endermite, Silverfish, and Vex by 5% Maximum level 3

Swords Enchantments:

Bash

The first hit will always deal 20% damage to anything, then enter an infinite cooldown
Leaving combat for 5 seconds will reset the cooldown of Bash

Uppercut

Sword’s Critical Hit will have 10% more damage and knock mobs and players upward.

Devourer

Deal 1 Heart less damage to mobs and players, but will heal the player 1 Heart instead
5% trigger chance
Maximum level 3, and +2.5% trigger chance per level

Axes Enchantments:

Cleave

Like Sweeping Edge, Axe now have AOE. Deal 15% less damage but +2 block increased range

Armor Crunch

Axe will now deal 30% less damage, but will reduce the durability of mobs’s and players’s armor by extra 2 more point

Enraged

Recieve Mining Fatugue II permanently while holding an Axe, but increase damage by 20%

Bow Enchantments:

Whirlwind

Arrow fired become one with the wind, arrow fired will now not affected by gravity, but will have a fixed range of 60 blocks
Maximum level 3, +60 block per level

Prowless

Arrow fired from bow will now home into mobs and players, with a homing range of 5 block.

Frenzified

After hitting a shot with an arrow, recieve Speed I for 5 second
Maximum level 3, +2 seconds per level and become Speed II at maximum level

Initiator

First arrow shot that hit a mob or player will have +60% damage, then enter infinite cooldown
Leaving combat for 7 second will reset cooldown of Initiator

Clusterbomb

At max charge, fire 2 more arrows
Maximum level 3, and +1 arrow per level

Tools Enchantments:

Moisturized I

Tilling farmland will automatically water it.

Molten’s Touch

Autosmelt mined ore into smelted variant.

Sprees

Tools now have a charging bar, continue using the tools to harverst/mining/foraging to fill up the bar. Once the bar reach its maximum, player will receive Haste III for 30 seconds.

Armor Enchantments:

Reflection Reduce incoming damage by 100% and reflect 20% of the damage back to the mobs or players with a 10% trigger chance Max level 3, +5% damage to Reflection, and +2.5% trigger chance	Blink 10% chance to teleport to a random location that is 30 blocks away from mobs and players who did damage to a player when down to 10 Heart Maximum level 3, +5% trigger chance, and +10 blocks teleportation	Crystalization Reduce damage against End Crystal explosion and Respawn Anchor explosion by 70% while blocking it with a shield	Binding 5% chance for mobs and players who hit the player will receive Slowness X for 2 seconds	Petrify I Mobs and players in 3 blocks radius of the player will receive Slowness II Maximum level 3, and increase blocks radius by 1
Sacrifice Armor will now have 50% less durability, but will add +3 Armor Point	Rejuvenate Every 1 minute, heal the player by 1 Heart

New! Pets

Say hello to four amazing new pets for this season: Dragon, Fox, Frog and Mystery

These cute companions will join you on your exciting adventures and have special abilities that get better as they become rarer.

Common Dragon Pet

When activated, have a 5% chance to find other valuable items from mining ores and digging sands. Each 5 level will add +1% chance to the boost

Epic Dragon Pet

When activated, have a 10% chance to find other valuable items from mining ores and digging sands. Each 5 level will add +1% chance to the boost
When activated, have a 10% chance triple the product of mined ores

Legendary Dragon Pet

When activated, have a 15% chance to find other valuable items from mining ores and digging sands. Each 5 level will add +1% chance to the boost
When activated, have a 15% chance triple the product of mined ores
When activated, receive Haste III for 30 seconds.

Common Frog Pet

When activated, chopping wood log will have a 5% chance to double the drop. Each 5 level will add +1% chance to the boost

Epic Frog Pet

When activated, chopping wood log will have a 10% chance to double the drop. Each 5 level will add +1% chance to the boost
When activated, chopping wood log will have a 10% chance to find Emerald and Emerald Block

Legendary Frog Pet

When activated, chopping wood log will have a 15% chance to double the drop. Each 5 level will add +1% chance to the boost
When activated, chopping wood log will have a 15% chance to find Emerald and Emerald Block
When activated, receive Haste III for 30 seconds

Common Fox Pet

When activated, the next potion consumed will have its duration +20 seconds. Each 5 level will add +5 seconds to the next potion consumed

Epic Fox Pet

When activated, the next potion consumed will have its duration +30 seconds. Each 5 level will add +5 seconds to the next potion consumed
When activated, the next potion consumed will have a 10% chance to give a random positive potion effect for 20 seconds

Legendary Fox Pet

When activated, the next potion consumed will have its duration +40 seconds. Each 5 level will add +5 seconds to the next potion consumed
When activated, the next potion consumed will have a 15% chance to give a random positive potion effect for 20 seconds
When activated, the next potion consumed will always give the player +3 Absorption Heart for 1 minute

Common Mystery Pet

When activated, there will be a 1% chance to reroll your crate reward when opening a Crate or Lootbox. Each 5 level will add +0.25% to the reroll = Max +5%

Epic Mystery Pet

When activated, there will be a 2% chance to reroll the player reward when opening a Crate or Lootbox. Each 5 level will add +0.35% to the reroll = Max +7.5%
When activated, 1.5% chance to double the player reward when opening a Crate or Lootbox

Legendary Mystery Pet

When activated, there will be a 3% chance to reroll the player reward when opening a Crate or Lootbox. Each 5 level will add +0.5% to the reroll = Max +10%
When activated, 2.5% chance to double the player reward when opening a Crate or Lootbox
When activated, 1% chance to give a additional reward for opening Crate or Lootbox

New! Bosses

The Warzone is getting more exciting with four new bosses coming.

Each boss has special attacks that make them tough to beat.

Players will need to use smart strategies and skills to defeat them.

A great way to earn hearts

When a boss is defeated, the three players who did the most damage get a special prize: Boss Soul Fragments. These fragments are used to craft some extra hearts.

New! Heart Crafting

Starting this season, we've introduced a new feature that allows you to craft extra hearts using a unique crafting recipe.

This addition allows you to increase your health beyond the standard limit, providing a significant advantage in your adventures.

By gathering specific materials and souls from the newly introduced bosses and following the special recipe, you can enhance your survivability and readiness for the challenges that lie ahead.

New! Chat Colors

We're bringing in lots of new, bright chat colors in all kinds of types.

The simple, old colors will still be there, but we're adding many new ones that have a cool gradient effect.

Find a chat color that fits you.

Check out a wide range of colors, from solid, single shades to special, standout gradient colors. These choices will make your messages stand out. To get these bright and unique chat colors, players will have to hit certain goals or finish some challenges. This makes chatting even more fun and personal for you.

New! Nickname Colors

We're changing how players can change their nicknames, moving away from the old way of using color codes with the /nick command.

Say goodbye to color codes for nicknames.

Now, instead of entering color codes, players can unlock new, exciting colors for their nicknames.

Discover bright colors.

You can find everything from one solid color to cool, special gradient colors.

With this update, players must reach certain goals or finish certain tasks to get these bright and unique colors for their nicknames, making personalizing your nickname even more fun and special.

Updated! Teams

We've recently made some quality-of-life improvements to our teams system.

These changes are all about making it easier and more enjoyable for you to manage and participate in teams.

A new home for your Team.

We've added a new option for teams where you can choose a "home" spot. By typing /team sethome, your team can pick a place to be your base. Then, anyone in your team can go there quickly by typing /team home. This makes it easy for your team to meet up or get back to your base fast.

Updated! Custom Potions

As we continue to enhance your experience in Lifesteal, we're excited to introduce another significant update: the rebalancing of custom potions.

This change is designed to ensure a fair and enjoyable game for everyone, bringing more strategy and depth to your gameplay.

Potion of Blizzard	Potion of Reflect	Potion of Echoing	Potion of Iron Clad
Duration 10 seconds While applied, regeneration and absorption effects do not work, you can still heal from the hunger bar. Half a heart of damage is applied every second. Slowness 1 for 10 seconds.	All levels have a 1-minute duration Level 1: Reflets 10% of damage received back at the inflicting player. Level 2: 15% Reflection Level 3: 20% Reflection	Level 1: Duration 30 seconds. 15% chance to reflect a mimic a players attack back on the player. Level 2: Duration 1 Minute 15% Chance to mimic Level 3: Duration 1 Minute 30 15% Chance to mimic	Resistance 2 30 Seconds. Iron Clad can only be brewed as level 1, you cannot make iron clad 2 or 3.

Updated! KOTH Loot

We've updated the loot for KOTH, and players can expect even more thrilling rewards for conquering them.

This refresh means more variety, better items, and the chance to grab exclusive gear that can significantly enhance your gameplay experience. Gear up and get ready to battle for the top spot, knowing that victory comes with even greater spoils than before.

Fixed! Bugs

We did our best to polish and fix many existing bugs inside the Lifesteal server.

We have looked through all the bug reports and managed to fix them. If you encounter any bugs with the new release, report them at our forums under the bug reports section.

Here are a few of the important bugs we squished out:

Fixed being able to break crops without having the right level.
Fixed broadcasts showing wrong information.
Fixed /settings not working.
Fixed being able to type in color codes manually in chat.
Fixed not being able to capture KOTHs.
Fixed chat colors not working.
Fixed mobs not spawning.
Fixed performance issues.
...and many more.

Misc. Updates & Changes

Multiple small changes have been made, some of these small changes are the following:

Updated Anticheat.
Updated the spawn area.
You can no longer use elytra in combat.
Auction House is now showing more buttons in the main menu.
Reduced combat timer to 20 seconds.
Added /koth command to teleport to KOTHs.
Added drop confirm and a setting to disable it.
...and much more.

Questions & Anwsers

Why does Lifesteal reset?

Lifesteal is already up for some time. A reset has to happen to change and improve with lots of excellent new features, to make the game more exciting for you all! This then allows you players to have a fresh start and new players can begin to play without any significant disadvantage.

This means all teams, items, money and the map will be reset. Nothing will be kept leftover from the previous map. I know this must be a disappointing revelation for a lot of you, but think about the exciting new changes, the new alliances you can forge, the new map, the new features and updates the different kinds of gameplay, and style provided with this update will surely make it a worth-while and exciting reset!
