why does my cactus farm didnt work

i have an issue my cactus in my cactus farm doesnt work the cactus doesnt want to grow and i think there nothing wrong with it but why is it not growing?

you probably built it wrong,check a tutorial video

You need to replace the blocks to fences

Place fench instand of cooblestone i think that should work

replace all cobblestone with fences .
