I linked my email to my account in jartex, but I would like to know what does it do, like other than giving you lobby chat perms what benefits does linking your email to your account give?

If you forget your password or get hacked, you can easily change you password by doing /passwordreset or smthing idk the command.
Many people lose their account because they forget their password, email was not connected and they have a different ip now.
