what will happen if i post links in chat?

i have seen many ppl sending links in public chat and even get reported but i dont know what punishment do they get for that. Does anyone know?

It doesn't matter what type of link it will be.
Also u cant use . In chat so link which u gona send it not gona be click able

if it's an advertising link like a discord server, u get perma ban and if it's a link for whatsoever, u get either mute or ban it depends
