We are pleased to inform you about a brand new Survival season, within the latest possible Minecraft version, 1.18!
1.18 has been out for a while, so it is time for our beloved Survival server to receive this version update as well. In order to fully make use of the new version, we will be giving the Survival server a reset where we will not only be updating the version but also adding a lot more content and improvements to the existing features.
This brand new season, we will also be introducing a better-optimized way to save worlds, a new and improved resource pack, bug fixes, and even some brand new features that you can explore!
We happily and proudly announce that the official new Survival season will be launching on Saturday February 26th 2022.

Changelog
Here is the list of the changes made for this reset. I highly suggest you give a good read over all of these to make sure you are familiar with the most recent updates and are not missing out on important details.
New! Spawn
We have put together a brand new spawn! This time you will find yourself stranded on a deserted island with pirates of JartexNetwork Survival. Jump through the portal and start your brand new survival adventure.
A new spawn with a lost pirate theme.
Looking for some help? There are plenty of NPCs explaining all the features.
A new seasonal crate has been added again.
New! Survival in 1.18
As mentioned above, it took a lot of time, more time than expected, to have all of our plugins and systems work with the 1.18 version. As everyone is now aware, we are running Survival on multiple servers instead of one, which made things a bit more complex, but we got it all to work, and we can now say that we will have a brand new Survival server containing the 1.18 version.
New blocks
You will now be able to enjoy all of the newest Blocks, Mobs, and features that have been added within the latest update, this update adds Amethyst Geodes along with Amethyst Blocks and items, Copper Ore and its derived forms, deepslate and its variants, the goat, glow squid and axolotl mobs combined with much more.
New! World & Chunk Optimization
Something we have been working on for a while is fine-tuning one of our latest systems that is running in the background of our server. Players will not really notice that big of an impact that it has, but it for sure will help Survival be more stable and allow us to utilize the worlds to its fullest. At JartexNetwork we will now be running our own system to save worlds in a far better way than the default servers software offer you us.
This little tool that we created for us, is called Koala, because who doesn't love them. As a player, you will not notice that much about this, but this allowed us to give you the following noticeable changes:
Bigger Worlds
Faster Reboots
Less performance heavy
This new and improved way of saving worlds and chunks will gain us a lot of extra performance boost on our survival worlds.
For those who are into numbers, we managed to make the size of the world's files be cut in a bit over half, a world previously being 10GB will now be less than 5GB!
New! Player Warps
Playing survival is all about sharing that experience with others. Are you having the most profitable shop on the server, or did you build something amazing that you want to show to players? This season we will be introducing player warps that you, the player, can create.
What is a player warp?
A player warp is a location set in a world of your choice that all other players can warp to. These player warps will be visible inside the /playerwarps GUI. So every time you create a warp every player of the server will be able to visit it.
How to create a player warp?
Use your Player Warp tokens to set a warp, and access other player warps using the /playerwarps command.
These player warps will ofcourse be safe to be teleported to, warps that have an unsafe location will not be able to be teleported to. After setting the warp your player warp token will be consumed and your warp will be created.
New! Bedrock Support
We implemented bedrock support on our network a while ago, but for this season we will be improving the experience for bedrock users on Survival.
In order to properly play Survival on mobile devices we had to revamp our system that we use to display certain GUIs to the players, these menus will now fully support mobile devices and have been made especially for them.
So from now on you can hop on to Jartex Survival to check on your mob farm straight from your phone as well, how nice is that?
Connectivity fixes
On top of properly implementing the GUIs on the bedrock edition we also fixed any connectivity issues and kicks when you joined our server using Bedrock, the server selector will now also work perfectly fine on mobile devices, so you can hop on straight to get started again with your survival adventure.
New! Survival wide Clans
Clans have been a thing ever since we released our Survival gamemode, but this season we are taking it one step further and are synchronizing all clans between the worlds we offer.
What changed?
Previously when creating a clan you would only be part of that clan of the world it was created on, so you could have 3 different clans depending on which world you were playing. With this update you will create or join a clan and will be able to access the clan across all the worlds, so you will no longer have to worry about only being the top clan in one world, you will now be dominating across all the worlds.
Clans will work the same as you are used to, however, we have made some big improvements on how things look and feel, clans will now be way more accessible for anyone, and we have integrated our updated resource pack in the clan GUIs as well.
New! Pets
Ever felt alone? Well not anymore! You will now be able to always have a little friend in every world.
Collect pet eggs & hatch them to get a random tier pet. Every pet will give you a different boost, the higher the tier the better! Pets will for example have a chance to increase your experience earned, give you extra money while selling, or help you out in PvP!
How to obtain a Pet?
These pets can be obtained from the Zoo Keeper at spawn, this NPC will be available on the weekends to sell 3 random eggs every weekend. But make sure to be there on time with enough money, experience & special items, as the Zoo Keeper has a limited stock, and each pet has its own price to pay.
These pets will be added with this new season:
Guardian Pet - The Guardian Pet will help you fight off mobs and players by deflecting the damage you receive back upon them.
Farmer Pet - They might seem lazy but these little guys will do anything for some extra crops.
Lumberjack Pet - Time to chop some logs. Get an extra helper with this small lumberjack.
Miner Pet - Ready to mine? This extra pickaxe from the miner will come in handy to find some more resources.
Updated! Player LevelsThis season we took the time to improve the player levels, to be more challenging, but also more rewarding.
Player level growth rate
The player levels will now start off a bit easier, but the further you go the harder it gets, but this also makes it worth the grind as we have buffed the rewards for all the levels that are harder to accomplish. On top of that, we tried to make the levels a bit more unique, rather than having to do the same tasks over and over again.
Updated! Player Shops
Given the fact that we have implemented the 1.18 version to this latest season, we have made sure to add all of the new 1.18 items and categories to the player shops. We have also made sure to fix all of the dupe issues within the player shops, and the empty advertised shops will no longer be visible within /shop.
We also made sure to update the GUIs for the player shops with our new resource pack as well.
Updated! Black Market and Travel MerchantThe Black market & Travelling Merchant are important aspects of the survival economy so we made sure to update those for this season as well. This is due to the high influence these features have on the economy, therefore we wanted to utilize its potential in the right direction to give you all a better economic experience. Within this new update, we also added all the new possible items & blocks that come in handy for these 2 merchants.
Updated! Resource Pack
We have been experimenting a while with our resource pack but we were not happy with the current state, so we decided to give it another try and start from the beginning. Last season you have seen a whole different art style, but in our opinion, this did not fit with what we are going for, we still want to give you the feeling that you are playing Minecraft survival, but just a more advanced version of it, that's why for this season we decided to go for a more pixel art style for all of our menus. Every menu that is in the game will have its unique style.

We really like this new style and we will be adding more and more content with our custom resource pack to further enhance the survival experience.
New emojisWe also added a bunch of new emojis to the resource pack that you can use in the chat. Who doesn't like to express their feeling in emojis? Exactly! Everyone likes it so that's why we added a bunch of new ones for this season as well.

We have made some small changes have been made, these small changes are the following:

Survival has been reset in order for us to bring you all a better experience on the Network. This game-mode was requiring a reset in order to be closer to achieving its potential with the diversity of different features which can be implemented to it.
What will I lose?
- Your claims.
- All items in your inventory and player vaults.
- Any currencies such as money and exp.
- Chatcolor permissions.
- Seasonal ranks and perks.
- Clan statistics.
What will I keep?
- Purchased Ranks & Rank Upgrades.
- Purchased Perks.
- Won out of crates commands/ranks.
