Smite vs sharp

Can anyone pls tell what works better for bosses smite or sharpness

it's better for mobs in the version above 1.8.9 u can hit 1 hit mobs if you use smite 5

I guess sharpness works better as they are not programmed as mobs.

Sharpness is more efficient and even better than smite so yea sharpness win
