I just noticed that you used /gift ....
/gift is a Command that is likely you getting scammed
Using /trade is completly save and you wont get scammed (Unless there is a Bug)

I have searched for the rules of Lifesteal but didnt find it.

yes its not your fault as you tried to help him but from what i know scamming is allowed in lifesteal prison and fac so you are good

than chances are that the person who got scammed might scam them
