Radius of spawners activating

What is the exact distance that a player needs to be within in order for a spawner to be active? Is it what block your standing on? Is it a sphere radius or square?? If someone actually knows this and is not just guessing then it would be great information. I know for regular Minecraft the distance is 16 blocks but I don’t know how this works in Jartex.

I think it has to do with your render distance. I am not sure tho, I cant give you a sure answer. I will search it up and tell you

According to wiki, you have to be within a 16 block radius for the spawner to work.

i think u need to be in the same chunk as the spawner

Vanilla Mob-Spawners cant be changed in radius, therefore R16 around the spawner.

Is it based on the block that you are standing on, the block your feet are in or the block your head is in or any of these?
