Pandas are very cute, it's just sad that they are going extinct.

They are not going extinct. The chinese navy is recruiting pandas to fuck up Indian, Taiwanese and American hairless monkeys.

According to merriam-webster, cuteness is the quality of being attractive in a pretty or endearing way.
As a nerd with evidently nothing better to do, I beg to differ.

Cuteness is a measure of how attracted a human being is to objects/animals/other people which resemble human baby-like facial features. It is an evolutionary instinct. In fact, all of our domesticated animals eventually start looking "cuter" than their wild counterparts as they are more tamer and therefore have less testosterone and release less adrenaline, just like in babies. Its as if those animals "never grow up", and ultimately those are the tamest ones.

Pandas are wild, however. So pandas being tame and "cute" is either just a matter of coincidence or a proof of domestication by, IDK, some dumb person long ago. Giant Pandas, being relatives of black bears are actually capable of ripping your arms off and/or killing you instantly in just one bite. They have such strong arms and paws that they can break your ribs in one punch. They can kill you, and will kill you, being the dangerous omnivores they are. Yes, Pandas can eat meat, sleep with one eye open tonight because they're coming for you.
