Hello, my name is nFly and I welcome you to the suggestion thread for a potential KitPvP Rework.
In this thread you'll find all my ideas & suggentions but I will also read the comments and edit the thread to the community's liking.
Enjoy the post & think about some new stuff!

Why even this thread?

Because most players want a rework on the kitpvp server, some may not like all the ideas listed here but keep in mind we can work on this together.

What do we want the most?

When asking the community, the things that I hear alot is that we need changes with the map, koths, kits and specefic items.

How can I, as a player contribute to this thread?

▶ The Map
At this current moment, the kitpvp map looks like it has been finished in a rush. No details and no structures, it's an empty map with copy pasted custom trees and a few rocks.
So here are a few things that could be added in the map or a new map.
  • Houses
  • Different biomes
  • More water & ice
  • Roads
  • Parkour
  • Structures
  • Bridges
  • Sumo Pits
  • A town
  • Towers
  • Less possible ways to run away ( no or less saferooms )

▶ Koths
The koths we have now are boring, we still need a few simple ones since its kitpvp & not factions but we could use a few better koths adepted to the map & current biome.
  • A koth that is actually a HILL
  • A koth with walls that players can defend
  • Koths with difficulties ( Easy - Medium - Hard )
  • Each koth based on difficulty has different rewards
  • Each koth based on difficulty has a longer / shorter cap time
  • Koth events, where a post will be made on the forums explaining the rules to win a large kitpvp koth event. These rewards could be store credit or in-game items. These events attract hunderds of players to fight all at one koth
  • Larger sky koth
▶ Teams
Suggestion by @DontTryMe09, teams is the equivalent for factions in factions.
  • Friendly fire off against your members
  • Private team chat
  • Able to enemy other teams
  • Able to set bounties on other teams
  • Team KDR
  • Team leveling
  • MAX 4 members -> unlock more spots based on team level
  • Team level increases by killing members of enemy team
  • Team level increases with taken koths
  • Team tournaments ( TEAM VS TEAM )
  • Being in a team does not give you any unfair advantages against other players
▶ Kits
We currently have three kits, one of wich is completely useless and archer mostly used only by starter players and people abusing it for infinite speed III. We'll talk about the OP kits later but first a few things about the starter kits. This suggestion is based on one by Andeh Andeh

With some of these changes to the kits, the items in the crates have to change too.
  • All armor removed from all crates
  • Voting sword becomes sharpness I
  • Rare sword becomes sharpness II
  • Ultra sword becomes sharpness III
  • Voting axe becomes sharpness I, fire aspect I
  • Rare axe becomes sharpness II, fire aspect I
  • Ultra axe becomes sharpness III, fire aspect II
  • Chug's lose strength IV
  • Mini's change to speed III for 0.10 seconds and regen III 0:05 seconds
  • EXP Level vouchers added ( 5, 15 , 30 )
  • Warrior rank voucher added to voting crate
  • Gladiator rank voucher removed from voting crate
  • 1xGod apple added to ultra crate

▶ Spawn
Long story short, update the spawn. I volunteer to build! :D

  • Potion bottles to be instantly removed from inventory once consumed

  • Health potion refill sign added in spawn
  • Money rewards for certain killstreaks

the only thing i didnt like is more detailed map because someplayers have potato PC so they will quit because of it
i do not agree with the Sharpness 3 idea because Yijki set is too OP sharpness 3 will not do anything against it so the fight will be taller and the armor will Brake more and people will not get Yijki kills .

I understand your concern, but if the kitpvp map becomes one like skyblock, and has barriers & nothing else the map will be lag free even with more details.
Also, you're right about the yijki, it's only 1 protection more, but I'll change the 15% reduced damage to 10% damage. Thank you.

Edit: I do not think there should be as many ways to run from someone and prevent dying, it really defeats the purpose of even attacking a player anymore. I also think we should completely get rid of chugs, they’re boring and require no skill to use.

In the last map, you rarely were able to escape someone who was attacking you, unless you knew what you were doing, this map, people constantly just run away from you if you’re beating them in a fight, you don’t get anywhere near as much loot as you would last map. For example the safe rooms are too OP imo, you can easily escape a fight without losing anything, I think these additions are the reason almost everyone from last map quit, and why some big names are quitting today.

Leveling in kitpvp currently is useless. Maybe make milestones? So for every 10 levels a player ranks up, they get access to an additional perk? Perhaps at Level 10 they get access to a unique kit, or when they reach level 20 they get an additional vault. It would make leveling actually worth achieving and make people want to grind levels more. Gives it more of a purpose. You could also add Kill Crate Keys. There's a random chance for a player to drop a crate key that can be opened at spawn.

This crate could include:

- Protection 2 Diamond Armour
- Sharpness 2 Diamond Sword
- 16x Enderpearls
- 4x Golden Apple (Regular)
- 1x God Apple (Rare chance)
- Power 2 bow
- $250 dollar note
- $500 dollar note
- $1,000 dollar note
- $5,000 dollar note
- Strength 1 potion
- Speed 2 potion
- 1x Rare Crate Key (Rare chance)

One thing that needs to be removed are the Chug Jugs and Minis. Minis are completely useless since they remove the player's speed afterwards - And no one uses them. Chug Jugs are overpowered, and many players have them now, so kitpvp isn't fun anymore because people just 3 shot you, even if you're in Yijiki. Maybe take away the strength 4 and make it regular strength 2?

Speaking about strength 2 pots - They are WAY too common now. The old map made strength 2 pots only available from crates, and they were extremely rare. (Which brings me smoothly to my next point)

Ranks are WAY too easy to win from crates. I've seen 9 players in the space of a day win a rank from a crate. They need to be nerfed or only confined to the higher tier crates.

They are a few of my suggestions. Let me know what you think :)

i agree to this. They do need to remove minis from the game. But another chugs what about ste 3 for 5 seconds. Than the ste 4 for 10 seconds. Also about the ranks they need to lower the chances on getting them

Hello Sahviiksil Sahviiksil , if you read the full post you'll see that I completely got rid of the strength that chugs give, and I reworked mini's to be alot better.

I also personally do not feel that strength II is too common, out of personal experience I don't see alot of people using them, certainly not enough to be nerfed.

The thing with ranks in crates is that they intentionally made the chances like that, since kitpvp is pay2win they want regular players to vote and have a fair chance against others.

I do really like your leveling idea, unlocking more space in your player vault, gaining different perks, money, and so on. I will add this to the post.

Kill crate keys have never been suggested by anyone else and personally I don't feel there's a need for them, if you gain %EXP and ($) per kill + the bonus stats your kit gives you by killing players I feel like thats enough. Not to mention there's people on the server with an active killstreak of 400+, they just abuse killing noobs when its safe for them to go out, this would be a big problem for those kill crate keys.
