BedWars Is a layer of wool worth it?

Ignore the people who place no wool, because they are just trying to rush or are bad. Place 8 wools, because its the logical and smart thing to do to protect your bed.

Ive tried doing that
Sometimes I end up in a bridge fight and the other guy survives at 1 HP.
They just come in and break my bed before I one tap them

You need to be fast, and if the other person also fast rushes you let him come towards you then you gain height while he flat bridges.

If you are in the start of the match, placing wool is the best option.
After sometime, replace it with either wood or endstone.
Later you can use obsidion.

welp, not bad. When I was still starting you used to make a 7 layer bed defense lol, Rn I can win without even putting one layer. "They are trying to rush"

Since 8 rushing is a thing on maps like Sakura, Beaches and Mythic, people usually gain the start if they dont place a defence.

Very debatable, but I rather be safe than sorry. It also wastes 2-4 seconds, so I don't see a problem when most bedwars games are 4 minutes+. Most people queue bad players, so thats why they don't use it imo.

• Mythic tho 4 is possible.
