Is 4 block reach legit?

So today when i was playing sumo,my block reach was 4.78 i dnt use reach idk still i got that much reach then i tried hitting zombies in sngleplayer world, same i got 4 block.

You get 5 block reach in Creative Mode. In sumo you were cheating, or you saw 4 instead of 2

Reach circle is a fixed figure, some say it increases when you sprint reset, don't listen to them lol. Creative has 4.75 reach (max I've seen) Single player and Multiplayer have 3.00 reach.
