To get better fps, you can use lunar client( it give high fps) and to record smoothly you can use xbox game bar which is there in windows 10

Xbox game bar, does not reduces fps, I get around 80 - 110 fps which is considered good while recording

yes it does reduces fps i tested without gamebar 60-700 with gamebar: 60-400

…. i don’t make videos or clips for cinematic shots. But you can reduce your render distance so that you get better fps because it wont load to much

Also if you are on 1.8.9 , you can go to video settings -> then turn on ( Use VBOs)

If you want a good solution for both, consider using a 16x texture pack (from what I've experienced anything under 16x has the same fps as anything above it), optimising settings and using badlion, badlion optimizes the game for you and offers many performance options that I haven't seen in other clients, and it also has replay mod for cinematic shots

You get 210 fps? Thats not good sometimes with about 400or 500 fps i cant record good , good fps in the game cant help you , you must upgrade pc to get good fps when you are recording
