A brand new reset of Gens is right around the corner and we've focused on making the basic parts of the game better and more fun.
We've worked hard to make big improvements that will make playing the game a much better experience for you.
Our main goal is to make the game more enjoyable than you ever thought it could be and keep you really into it.
In our latest update, we've worked hard on improving the main features of the Gens Tycoon game mode.

New! Quests
We've updated the main quest line to make your adventure even better.
By streamlining the process, we've removed certain quests that were less engaging, altered existing ones to improve their flow, and overall, enhanced the experience to ensure it's more enjoyable for everyone.
A better flow through the quests.This means you'll find a more cohesive and engaging storyline that guides you through the game. Our goal was to eliminate any unnecessary hurdles, making sure each quest contributes meaningfully to your journey. As a result, players can now look forward to a smoother, more focused adventure that keeps the excitement going from start to finish.
Daily Quests from Tasker Tom.Alongside the streamlined main quest line, we've introduced a variety of daily quests to keep your adventure fresh and exciting. Make sure to visit Tasker Tom at the spawn point every day to discover the new daily quest available for you. These quests offer additional challenges and rewards, providing something new to look forward to each day.
Whether it's gathering, battling, or exploring, Tasker Tom has a task that will suit your interests and help you gain valuable rewards.
These quests are easier than the mainline quests, so the rewards aren't as crazy, but it's still a fun thing to do for some extra rewards.
New! Exp CurveWe've made it easier and more fun to level up in the game. Now, you don't need as much experience to get to the next level, and we've changed how much XP you get from doing different things like quests, battles, and exploring.
This means you'll move up levels quicker and feel good about your progress. You won't get stuck on the same level for too long anymore.
Every task you do in the game will help you advance faster, making your journey through the game feel rewarding and keeping the excitement alive as you grow stronger and take on new challenges.

Meet Retailer Rox, the newest NPC located just behind the spawn area, ready to revolutionize the way you use essence in the game.
With Retailer Rox, you can exchange your hard-earned essence for a variety of valuable items, with new and exciting options appearing daily.
This introduces a strategic element to your gameplay, as you'll need to decide which items are worth your essence each day.
A limit on how much you can trade.However, there's a catch: your ability to trade is limited. The number of trades you can make each day is directly tied to your rank in the game.
This means the higher your rank, the more trades you're allowed to make.
Updated! ToolsGreat news for everyone who loves upgrading their tools in the game! We've updated how tool upgrades work. Before, if you wanted to upgrade your tool from wood to stone, you had to get a new one and start all over with enchantments. Not anymore!
Upgrade your tools from materials directly.Now, you can upgrade the material of your tool — say, from wooden to stone — and keep all the enchantments you've already put on it. This makes your tools much better without losing the special upgrades you've worked hard to get.
...but at a cost!There's a small catch, though. Upgrading your tool this way costs a bit more essence and money than before. It's a trade-off: you get to keep your enchanted tool and make it stronger, but you need to spend some extra resources.
Updated! Enchanting System
We've made some exciting updates to the enchanting system to enhance your gameplay experience.
Enchants now go to Level 5.One of the significant changes is the adjustment of enchantment levels. Previously, the maximum level for enchantments was 3, but we've now increased this cap to level 5. This change opens up new possibilities for tool enhancement, allowing for even greater power and efficiency.
More transparant chances.Additionally, we've improved the transparency of the enchanting process. Now, when you're enchanting your tool, the chances of achieving each enchantment level will be displayed. This update aims to help you make more informed decisions about enchanting your tools, giving you a better understanding of the potential outcomes.
To further enrich the enchanting experience, we're introducing three different types of enchant rolls: Small Box, Medium Box, and Large Box. Each of these roll types comes with its own cost and set of chances to gain a level on your enchantment. This means you can choose how much you want to invest and take a calculated risk based on the potential rewards.

Updated! Events
We've made some updates to the events in our game to improve your experience and reduce confusion.
Specifically, we've decided to remove events where resources automatically get sold. We found that this feature was causing some players to be unsure about what was happening with their resources.
But that's not all — we're also excited to introduce new events to the mix!
The following events have been added to the automated event roster:

Fixed! BugsWe did our best to polish and fix as many existing bugs inside the Gens Tycoon server.
We have looked through all the bug reports and managed to fix them. If you come across any bugs with the new release, make sure to report them at our forums under the bug reports section.
- Fixed vouchers not showing any message when claiming soul bound ones.
- Fixed sell wands not giving the boost you should have.
- Fixed generator slots not being calculated properly sometimes.
- Fixed fishing quests not working.
- Fixed vote party not giving any rewards.
- Fixed mobs in dark zone not giving any essence.
- Fixed Royal rank not auto levelling up.
- Fixed some ranks missing commands that are mentioned as perks.
- Fixed not being able to complete the starter quest due to generators missing.
- Fixed new buttons not being included for visitor permissions.
- Fixed new pressure plates not being included for visitor permissions.

Misc. Updates & Changes
Multiple small changes have been made, some of these small changes are the following:
- Updated the Ultimate Crate.
- Added a new limited-time Loot Crate for release.
- Added more birch trees to the forest.
- Updated the PVP arena, duels will be released in the near future.
- The essence curve has been changed, and now each level requires the same essence points.
- You can now only withdraw essence levels, and not points.
- Added an announcement when your inventory is full.
- Quest rewards now go to mail delivery if your inventory is full.

Question and AnswersWhy does Gens Tycoon reset?
Gens Tycoon has already been up for some time. A reset has to happen to change and improve with lots of excellent new features, to make the game more exciting for you all! This then allows you, the players, to have a fresh start and new players can begin to play without any significant disadvantage.
This means all cells, items, money and the map will be reset. Nothing will be kept leftover from the previous map. Of course, all purchases will be reissued so nobody will be out of pocket in that regard.
