Hello, dear JartexNetwork players!
We are excited to announce that a new season of Gens Tycoon is right around the corner.
With this reset we want to make Gens feel more like a complete gamemode, so we will be using the great base of the gamemode we have right now, and fine-tune that in to something we feel like will make the overall gameplay a bit more exciting for new and returning players.

Changelog
Here is the list of the changes made for this reset. I highly suggest you give a good read over all of these to make sure you are familiar with the most recent updates and are not missing out on important details.
New! Daily QuestsWe've introduced a variety of daily quests to keep your adventure fresh and exciting. Make sure to visit Tasker Tom at the spawn point every day to discover the new daily quest available for you. These quests offer additional challenges and rewards, providing something new to look forward to each day.
Whether it's gathering, battling, or exploring, Tasker Tom has a task that will suit your interests and help you gain valuable rewards.
These quests are easier than the mainline quests, so the rewards aren't as crazy, but it's still a fun thing to do for some extra rewards.
Each Daily Quest gives you a Daily Quest Case, which gives you random rewards.
New! Exclusive GeneratorsYou can now get new, powerful generators from the daily quest case.
These generators are very strong and drop loot that sells for a lot of money. But to get them, you need to complete the daily quests.
You can only get these rewards by doing daily quests. To get the generators, check your quest log for daily quests, finish the tasks, and then open the daily quest case to get a chance for a exclusive new generator.
New! Elite Auctions
The PvP arena has been removed from Gens to make room for the Elite Auctions House.
Within the Elite Auction House every day there will be limited items for sale, only for the richests players out there, making money have more use at Gens.
The Elite Auction displays the 3 items within the Auction House area, and can only be purchased from there.
Make sure to keep an eye out because every day has a different time for when the Auction starts, and every item has a limited stock.
This gives every player from every timezone a chance to obtain rare, valuable and exclusive items from the Elite Auction.
On a side note to this, the removal of the PvP arena means we have no plans of adding PvP elements to Gens.
We feel like Gens is a gamemode that should not be about PvP, it is a Tycoon gamemode, and PvP has no place here, besides cluttering the gamemode with extra features. In the future we will bring more PvE content, but PvP has been fully removed from Gens, and there is no plans for this to be added.
New! TotemsTotems are designed to make things easier and quicker. You can upgrade them using gems and tokens.
How to get Gems?Gems can simply be obtained by grinding, if you farm, chop wood, or fish you have a chance to obtain a gem.
You click to activate them for a certain amount of time, and they have a cooldown period.
You can upgrade them at the upgrade table when you have the totem in your inventory.
Totems will help you save time and make your adventures more efficient, there will be 5 types of totems:

New! Farmer Suits
Farmer Suits are a new type of suit that can be obtained by grinding. As Farming is the most essential grinding tool we have decided to add a Farmer Suit only for this reset, with this suit you will be able to earn more while harvesting crops.
When harvesting theres a small chance a Farming Crystal will drop, with these fragments you will be able to purchase pieces of 3 different Farmer Suits at Farmer Frank.
The following 3 suits will be sold at Farmer Frank.

New! Backpacks
We are excited to introduce a new feature: specialized backpacks to make your grinding and selling easier.
We will be adding 4 backpacks, for each type of grinding within the Gens Tycoon gamemode.

These backpacks can store items for you, allowing you to grind more and sell more at once. When you use the /sell command, it will automatically sell the items inside your backpack as well.

We've added a bunch of new blocks that you can use to decorate your island and make it uniquely yours.

Updated! PetsWe understand that pets are important, but getting a good pet can be hard, and many common pets end up going to waste. To solve this issue, we have added a new feature: the Pet Merger!
Get a better pet using Pet Merger Pete.With the Pet Merger, you can now combine a bunch of common pets to upgrade them to the next rarity.
This means you can turn your extra pets into more powerful companions. Simply gather your common pets, use the Pet Merger, and watch as they transform into rarer and more valuable pets.
Updated! Retailer Rox
Retailer Rox has just updated their inventory, and we have some exciting new items for you.
Rox now sells:
- Special Chat Color: Stand out in chat with a unique color for your messages.
- Boosters: Give yourself a boost with these powerful items.
- Random Generators: Get a chance to obtain powerful generators randomly.
- Sell Wands: Make selling items easier and quicker with these handy wands.

Updated! Aesthetic OverhaulWe believe that change is necessary for growth and development.
The style around JartexNetwork is constantly evolving, and we want to ensure that our Gens gamemode is not left behind.
This season, we have decided to give Gens a significant aesthetic overhaul. Here is an overview of the updates we have made:
- In-depth Help Commands: We have added more in-depth help commands for certain features to make it easier for players to understand and utilize them.
- Hologram Styling: We have updated the hologram styling to give it a fresh new look.
- Messages: We have updated all the messages to make them more clear and more informative.
- Menus: We have updated some existing help menus with their styling.
Fixed! Bug Reports
This season we did our best to fix all the existing bugs that occur in our Gens server, here is a list of bugs we managed to squeeze out this season:
- Fixed an issue where generators would still work after you left an island.
- Fixed resourcepack not loading on later versions of the game.
- Fixed milestones resetting sometimes.
- Fixed some NPCs at spawn not having the right command added to them.
- Fixed chatcolors not working.
- Fixed nickcolors not working.
- Fixed not having permanent night vision at spaen.
- Fixed not being able to see recipes in condense table.
- Fixed mobs not giving essence when killed.
- Fixed Sentinel not having /ptime access.
- Fixed Level 70 quest asking you to mine Iron ore when you can't on that level.
- Fixed gens from /gift not working.
- Fixed some quests not giving the right rewards.
- Fixed anticheat causing you to be stuck.
- Fixed Treasure hunt chests not giving any rewards sometimes.
- Fixed some auctionhouse buttons not working.

Misc. Updates & Changes
Multiple small changes have been made, some of these small changes are the following:
- Updated the spawn area.
- Updated holograms on NPCs
- Fixed Tasker Tom not working after reaching required level.
- Added a new limited time lootcrate.

- Buffed the essence earned from Dark Zone mobs.
