Here is the list of the changes made for this reset.
I highly suggest you give a good read over all of these to make sure you are familiar with the most recent updates and are not missing out on important details.
New! 1.21 Server Version
Gens Tycoon has been updated to Minecraft version 1.21.1!
The server now runs on the latest version, offering better performance and new features.
You can still join using older versions, but we highly recommend updating to 1.21.1 for the best experience.
Plus, we’ve added the new blocks and decorations from 1.21.1 to the /shop, so you can start building with the latest materials right away!
Reworked! SpawnFor this season we have decided to keep the Gens Tycoon spawn in the same theme and layout, but with some good changes to make the gamemode even better.
NPCs now show banners for easier access.
Crates will now have banners to preview them and purchase them.
Are you looking for some help? There are plenty of NPCs explaining all the features.
A new seasonal crate has been added again.
New! Player ShopsWe are excited to announce a full rework of the Player Shops system, making it easier and better than ever to run and find shops!
Here’s what’s new this season:
Shop Warp — You can now set a warp to your shop, making it easy for other players to visit. Each player can set one shop warp.
Purchase Extra Shop Slots — Need more space? You can now buy extra shop slots to sell even more items.
Advertise Your Shop — You can now pay Gold to move your shop to the top of the shop list and get more customers!
Better Sorting & Filtering — Easily search and filter through player shops to quickly find the items you need. New Shop Menu & Display — All shops now have a clean new display to see your items clearly and manage your shop easier.This update makes buying and selling from players faster, more organized, and much easier to use.
To get started, simply place a sign on a chest and add [shop] to the first line.
Build your shop, set your warp, and start earning!
New! Login StreakIntroducing Login Streaks — a new way to earn extra rewards just by playing daily! Every time you join the gamemode on consecutive days, your login streak will grow.
The more days you log in without missing, the higher your streak becomes, and with it, the better the rewards you can earn.
It’s simple: log in every day, keep your streak alive, and claim bigger and better bonuses as a thank-you for your loyalty.
Don’t miss a day — your streak resets if you skip!
New! User Experience Overhaul
We have streamlined the game’s features and given all menus and messages a complete refresh.
With this we hope to welcome more new players, as well as keeping everything simple and easy to use for returning and existing players.
A More Unified ExperienceOver time, features have piled up, making the gamemode feel disconnected.
This overhaul brings everything together, making Gens Tycoon feel like a complete and polished experience again.
New & Improved GUI DesignNavigating through the game has never been easier! We’ve redesigned the GUIs to be simple, clean, and user-friendly, so you can access every feature quickly.

Menus have been updated for better usability.
Messages & notifications have been improved for clarity.
Updated! GeneratorsWe’re excited to introduce 10 brand-new generators to Gens Tycoon!
To make progression more rewarding, we’ve also adjusted the level requirements.
Instead of unlocking 1 generator every 10 levels, you will now unlock 1 new generator every 5 levels after level 100.
This means that between level 100 and 200, you’ll now earn 20 generators instead of just 10!
More generators, more progression, and more fun — keep leveling up to unlock them all!
Updated! Daily QuestsGens Tycoon just got even more exciting with a complete update to Daily Quests!
We’ve added a bunch of new quests, giving you fresh tasks and challenges to complete every day.
Whether you're a seasoned player or just starting out, these new quests will keep you on your toes and give you even more reasons to log in daily.
Updated! IslandsThe Island System has received a complete overhaul to make it easier and faster to use!
When you open the /island menu, everything is now organized into simple tabs.
You can quickly navigate through all important options, settings, and information about your island without any confusion.
Updated! Auction HouseThe Auction House just got a major upgrade — you can now sell your most valuable items for Jartex Gold!
No more dealing with gift card trades or risky deals. With this new system, you can safely and directly sell items to other players using the official Jartex Gold currency.
To list an item for gold, simply use the command:
/ah sell <price> goldIt’s secure, simple, and the best way to trade high-value items on the server!
Fixed! Bug ReportsWe have worked hard to polish and fix as many bugs as possible on the Gens Tycoon server.
We reviewed all the reported issues and managed to fix them.
If you come across any bugs with the new release, please report them in the bug reports section on our forums.

Each season when all bug reports get fixed you will obtain Gold in your virtual wallet, which you can then redeem on our discord using /wallet.

Misc. Updates & Changes
Multiple small changes have been made, some of these small changes are the following:
- Updated the seasonal crate.
- Updated the spawn layout.
- Re-enabled Elite Auctions.
- Updated the Gold Shop interface.
- Added a navigation menu.
- All quests have received small changes and fixes to ensure a smoother experience while completing them.
- Removed broadcasts as they were getting in the way of quests dialogues.
- Explosion enchantment on hoes will now work properly again.
- Added more chest locations to all Treasure Rooms.
