Here is the list of the changes made for this reset.
I highly suggest you give a good read over all of these to make sure you are familiar with the most recent updates and are not missing out on important details.
New! Spawn
The map you know and love will make a return, however this time around we have made improvements to the spawn area.
It has a better structure, all the helpful NPCs in one place, and much more for you to find inside the spawn.

A seasonal crate has been added for the first time in Gens Tycoon.
New! ArmorA new type of equipment has arrived in Gens Tycoon— Armor!
This special armor is designed to help you in the Treasure Rooms, giving you extra protection and boosting your survival as you search for valuable loot.
Three Armor TiersTreasure Armor is available in Iron, Diamond, and Netherite.
The better the armor, the stronger its benefits—but higher-tier armor requires a higher level to equip.
Available in /shopYou can purchase Armor directly from the /shop, allowing you to gear up before entering a Treasure Room.
Make sure you’re well-equipped, as tougher rooms will require stronger armor to withstand the challenges inside.
New! Armor EnchantsTo make Armor even more powerful, we are introducing new exclusive enchantments that will help you survive longer and fight smarter in the Treasure Rooms.
These enchantments will give you extra protection, healing, and strategic advantages while exploring.

New! Treasure Rooms
A brand-new feature, the Treasure Rooms has arrived, offering players the chance to explore hidden chambers filled with valuable loot.
These mysterious rooms will open at specific times, and only those who qualify can enter.
These Treasure Rooms are protected by strong mobs, so you will need your sword more often now, and on top of that, brand new armor has been added as well that you will need to purchase and enchant to stand a chance.
Treasure Room ScheduleFrom Monday to Thursday, a Treasure Room opens at 15:00.
On Friday, Saturday, and Sunday, two rooms will open at 14:00 and 16:00.
Each time, a random Treasure Room is chosen, which may have level restrictions preventing lower-level players from entering.
Limited Time AccessEach Treasure Room remains open for 20 minutes before closing and teleporting all players away.
If a player logs off during this time and returns after the room has closed, they will be automatically teleported back to spawn.
Hidden Rewards Await- Inside these Treasure Rooms, you can find rare and valuable loot, including:
- Powerful generators to boost your production
- Extra generator slots to expand your tycoon
- Exclusive equipment and enchantment books
- Brand-new, high-tier pets
New! Rotating Essence ShopThe Essence Shop has been completely reworked, bringing a fresh new system where exclusive items rotate every day!
This means every time you check the shop, you’ll find different rewards available for purchase using your hard-earned essence.
Daily Rotating ItemsEach day, a new set of items will appear in the Essence Shop, replacing the previous selection.
This ensures that every visit offers new opportunities to get valuable and rare items.
Check Back Every Day!Since the shop refreshes daily, make sure to check in often so you don’t miss out on rare and limited-time offers!
New! Bulk Key OpeningWe’ve added the ability to open multiple keys at once, making your crate opening experience much faster and more convenient!
The higher your rank, the more keys you can open at the same time, with a maximum of 64 keys in a single bulk open.
An animation will start playing showcasing which rewards you have won directly, rather than having an individual animation for each key.
New! Auto CondenserA powerful new item has arrived in Gens Tycoon—the Autocondenser!
This special item automatically condenses your resources, saving you time and making inventory management much easier.
How It WorksWhen you have the Autocondenser in your inventory, it will automatically condense any items that match the condense table, turning them into their compacted forms without needing to use commands.
No More Manual CondensingForget about constantly running /condense—this item does the work for you, allowing you to focus on grinding, selling, and upgrading your setup.
New! Auto Sell Vouchers
A brand-new way to boost your earnings has arrived—Auto-Sell Vouchers!
These vouchers will automatically sell all the items you farm for a set period, making grinding even more efficient.
Where to Get Them?Auto-sell vouchers can be purchased from the new Essence Shop or found in other in-game shops.
How They WorkWhen you activate an Auto-Sell Voucher, all the items you collect will be instantly sold for the duration of the voucher.
The length of time depends on the voucher’s value, ranging from shorter boosts to long-lasting auto-sell sessions.
New! Infinite ChestIntroducing the Infinite Chest for Gens Tycoon!
Unlike the traditional infinite chests in other game modes, Gens Tycoon Infinite Chests come with a unique twist to help balance the economy.
You can now earn these chests in-game, but they aren’t permanent—each Infinite Chest has a timer that starts when placed, and once the time runs out, the chest will be destroyed.
There are different tiers of Infinite Chests, each offering varying timer lengths, so you can choose the best option for your needs.
Updated! MapThe previous Gens Tycoon map is making a return!
With the winter season coming to an end, the snow and ice have started to melt, bringing back the familiar landscape you know and love.
As the winter decorations disappear, the world is returning to its original state, ready for a fresh season of grinding and progress.
We have made some small tweaks around the map, those tweaks are the following:
A bigger forestWe have increased the amount of oak and birch trees that can be chopped down across the map, we also made the top of the trees more accessible.
Quest IndicatorsThe map now shows small hints and indicators across the map for quests where you have to find certain items, this makes it a bit easier for new players to know what they are looking for and where to find it.
Updated! EnchantmentsWe’ve made several changes to tool and sword enchantments to improve balance and make them more useful in Gens Tycoon.
These updates bring new enchantments and adjustments to existing ones.
- Removed Haste as an option for a Hoe enchant as it gives no extra value.
- Increased all enchantments to a new maximum level of 10, rather than 5.
- Added freeze enchant (Swords): Has a 1% chance per level to make mobs freeze. (Max Level 5)
- Added Sharpness enchant (Swords): Deal more damage to mobs. (Max Level 4)
Updated! Level ExperienceWe’ve made some updates to improve the Gens Tycoon levels, we heard your feedback on some levels felt too long to complete, especially during the early game so we have made some adjustments:
- From Level 20 to Level 30 the needed experience has been lowered by 25%.
- Doubled the experience gained from fishing.
- Increased the experience from potatoes by 20%.
- Increased the experience from beetroots by 20%.
Fixed! Bug ReportsWe have worked hard to polish and fix as many bugs as possible on the Gens Tycoon server.
We reviewed all the reported issues and managed to fix them.
If you come across any bugs with the new release, please report them in the bug reports section on our forums.

Misc. Updates & Changes
Multiple small changes have been made, some of these small changes are the following:
- Added a little bit more explanation to the starter quest
- This should make some commands more known to new players
- Added a new crate-exclusive rank called King rank.
- This rank will give you bigger multipliers, as you are known for every rank
- Moved lootboxes into the /kit menu, they still give lootboxes but this command is easier to understand for everyone.
- Updated all hologram styling with the new possibilities 1.20 gives us.
- Removed resourcepack from rank displays so the tab and chat is more clear even while using the resourcepack.
- You can now use /farm <crop> to quickly switch farms.
- Sellwands now work properly with booster cookies.
- Added a lot more visual feedback while playing so you feel more progression.
- All the NPCs in the map now give clues on what to do to be able to interact with them.
- This should make the map feel more alive.
