Why do People Not Talk?

I feel like this should be adressed because im honestly so confused.
A lot of times when you play bedwars with no parties, you get people who don't answer you or react to your messages in chat.
Again i partially understand why thats the way it is, because they're from other countries. But honestly this happens too often for me to believe thats the case.

Anyone has a clue why people do that?
