What is with Kb2 swords?

I've recently been wondering why knockback 2 swords sell for so much. I don't really see the use for it on flat ground (which is where people usually fight). I recently enchanted a few of these swords and I need to know why they are useful so I can think of a good enough price to sell them for. And what I really don't know is why knockback 2 goes for more than sharp 5? Also I want to know the use so I know if I should keep enchanting more of these.

Mostly because people use them to knock others off a high ground when capturing a koth. Sharp 5 is less special because you can get that from immortal kit. You have to be ‘lucky’ while enchanting to get kb 2, which makes them more rare.
