I always side rush unless rushing by the diamond generator is faster. If the diamond generator is on the way to side rush, it's even better.

agreed, i prefer 16 block side rush

If it's possible, most of the maps need 32 blocks to side rush

i do both at once in maps like crash where the diamond gen is between the spawn islands

yes u can do 16 block rush there but the problem is people side rush and tower up on u so with just 16 blocks u can't really do anything except bypassing them and trading beds
