Well it depends on your situation. If you are fighting against a good player, its best to get prot and trap. If you know you can win the game and the players are easier to kill, then sharp is better. All about strats and game sense bro.

if u have 2 dias on solo/2s get prot

I personally buy sharpness If Im not being rushed. But If I am being rushed I buy prot and miner fatigue trap.

haste obviously, so u can mine beds faster, if ur good at pvp u dont need sharpness noob

Personally, if I go to diamonds at the beginning of the game, I'll gain only 2 diamonds so I'll buy protection, but if I go to diamonds at the end I'll buy sharpness and then protection.
Simply, I buy sharpness first only if I have enough diamonds, otherwise I'll buy protection.
