Vote rewards...

So I just voted today and received vote crate keys instead of rare crate keys. Were the rare key rewards part of a special event or something Jartex does occasionally?

How long does it last for? Do they announce it on the forums? If so, where can I find it?

it stays for a week/2weeks and they dont announce it on the server{often}
