The only reason I am using silverfish is for the mission that requires you to spawn 3 in a game and I cringe so bad doing that.

It's so annoying spawning silverfishes that I skip this mission lol

The most useless item for me is definitely the water bucket because 1) I use ladders for clutching 2) I never skybase anyways.
I use silverfish (unfortunately) for the daily mission and on small maps I usually get a kb stick, especially if I have diamond armor and I don't need the gold (I never bought kb sticks while they costed 12 gold but at 7 gold it is a solid investment) Stonks.

Ladders are useful depending on how you use them

1. You can use them to negate kb by ladder clutching or in case one of your teammates has built a bridge that is high
2. Also negating kb can come as a big bonus on a bridge fight when kb is the biggest deciding factor

Yeah and I even use them as an emergency block when I am running out of blocks to bridge. Or I sometimes ladder bridge just for trolling others and seeing noobs getting confused and fall of the bridge lol

The most utility you should think about is clutching, you don't take any fall damage and you go faster to go down with ladders.

I don't think I've ever used the dream defenders or the silver fish with the intention of trying to eliminate a player. I've only ever spawned silver fish for the missions and such.

It's too easy to kill silverfishes that it's useless to use them
