Useless downvoting

Why do people downovote/-1 the suggestion if it has already been denied in the past. Your job, as the user, is to give out YOUR opinion. Staff very well know has the suggestion been denied in the past.
The whole point of downvote/upvote system is for you to express YOUR opinion, so the staff team can maybe reconsider their old decision.
Please stop downvoting stuff because it has been denied in the past. Just give out YOUR opinion on should something be added or not.


Not only are you not helping the server by doing this, you are actually making it harder for the staff to evaluate if they would add the suggestion (because it doesn't give them a realistic number of upvotes/downvotes).

Staff members can also give their opinions on the suggestions. When people say that “this was rejected multiple times in the past” It means they’ve seen the same suggestion over and over and keeps getting denied, it has nothing to do with staff members and what not.

Yes, and if it was denied in the near past. They can just re-deny it.
But if the community actually did their job and gave actual feedback, maybe the staff team can reconsider their decision.
And if you have no actual feedback (as the member), then just upvote/downvote it.
Realistically, it changes nothing for the staff team. Either way they have to accept or deny the suggestion, this way it would just make it more clear on the community side.
