Trapdoors

Hi guys! I can't place trapdoors in this farm I am making. Can someone help?
 
its maybe a bug or maybe u are lagging try reporting it to the staff they might fix it /help you
 
Well it could be 1.8 issue as you might know u cant place 2 chests next to each other. It could be possible something similiar might be happening with you

Oh I think that might be the issue as I often log onto Skyblock using 1.8. I'll try on 1.18. Thanks for the help!
 
You might be on to something - SBD is 1.8.9 at its base, 1.9.0+ features are disabled - throwing splash water bottles at fire to put it out, dispensers equipping pumpkins on player's heads, etc. If you're trying to place a trapdoor above a block (not connected to the side of a block), this might be the reason. *can't find a source that confirmss or denies this, however.

It might also be a farmland bug? Farmland's upper hitbox is smaller than other blocks, that might be why you can't place a trapdoor on the upper half of a farmland block.

On what block are you failing to place trapdoor? In what orientation - side (upper/lower half), upside down, top, freefloating...?

Dude what you did was grave digging its bannable on forums i didnt checked the date i jus saw a discord ping and opened it....
You might be doing it for your staff application ig just hope we dont get banned :)
 
The post is relevant to the topic and it's been slightly over two weeks (not a month+), I don't see this being infraction worthy. Your earlier comment should also be fine, since the OP themselves 'bumped' the thread after you did. Good looking out though, thanks :).
