Toggle option for "Punch-to-Deposit" feature
Suggestion Details:
Jartex added Punch-to-Deposit feature a few months ago and added more functionality to it recently. While the feature may be desired by some, one of its function which is "right click to deposit item" is of great nuisance.
This is especially annoying for players who have a rush routine that involves depositing only their gold into the ender chest. Since the player only wants to deposit gold, they cannot simply punch the chest because that would deposit their iron as well. Additionally, it is common for players to have wool selected in their hand at the start of the game. As a result, when the player right clicks the ender chest, instead of opening, it takes away all the wool. The player must then first switch to their sword, since it is excluded from right click deposits, or switch to an empty hotbar slot before interacting with the chest. While this only adds a fraction of a second, those small delays can matter in rush-heavy maps and may be the difference between reaching a destination first or second. This would have been an even bigger nuisance on the older 8-player maps where early-game rushing was far more competitive.
Same goes for shift right click deposits, while the functionality is useful it causes trouble when a player accidentally shift right clicks an ender chest. This is a very common case when, for example, a player is sneaking inside a base to hide from another player and suddenly notices them approaching. Since the player wants to quickly return important items to their ender chest, they right click the chest while sneaking in an attempt to open it. Instead, the shift right click deposit activates, and right when they need many of those items for the upcoming fight, they are left with nothing but a sword. While this may be beneficial if the fight was likely to be lost anyway, it can just as easily turn a winning fight into a losing one.
My suggestion is: Provide a toggle option for this feature. An even better implementation would be if there are toggles for separate functionalities. And even better if you make those toggles a three way switch which would be between enable, disable and disable on bed destroy, as this feature is completely unnecessary once player's bed is gone.

I have already pointed out some of the nuisances caused by this feature in my previous post about suggestion handling. The current implementation perfectly illustrates the issue: a suggestion is denied for years, later implemented anyway, additional functionality gets added without player input, and no consideration is given to those who do not want it. Adding a toggle would solve the problem without taking the feature away from the players who actually like it. The link is provided below, but here's the relevant quote
3. Punch to depositAnother example is the “punch to deposit” feature.Players had been suggesting this feature for a long time and those suggestions were consistently denied. Then later the developers decided to implement it anyway, but in a very reckless way.The feature was added without any option to toggle it off. This means players who do not want the feature now have to deal with accidental deposits, and it also creates issues when fighting near chests because accidental clicks can trigger deposits. So first the suggestion is denied whenever players bring it up. Then the developers implement it anyway on their own terms. Then they make the feature mandatory for everyone without any option to disable it. And on top of that, the original suggesters do not even receive credit. So first the suggestion is rejected because the developers apparently do not like it, then they do it anyway, force that feature on everyone which they earlier did not liked, and the people who suggested it do not even get acknowledged?
