This is all objective and different things can happen in different situations, it is possible that you can save your bed in these 2 seconds it is also possible that you will be killed because iron sword against wood hence you cannot say that I am wrong

Sandstone+ wool takes longer to break than endstone with only a pick btw, also if you have haste 2 or a stone pick the difference is even less, and sandstone+ wool is better against TNT since more of your bed is covered after the explosion
