Survival downgrade rank possible?

I'm Duke rank ssnl and logically if i get any rank which is permanent,like knight permanant,then i should get the knight rank because its not ssnl and its perm,so shouldent i be able to use baron perm on top of duke ssnl?

No you can't can't any permanent rank which is Duke or lower, u can only claim permanent rank which is higher than Duke.

You can't use any permanent rank that u redeemed ssnl one of that or lower of that.

if you have baron perm, then you can use it but it will appear next ssn, and for the end of the season you’ll have duke
