Skywars Bugs/Improvements

Here are some of the major bugs me and my friends have encountered while playing Skywars:

Server Game Teleport while in a Party
1) Server teleports only a number of the total party members depending on the slots available in a game. E.g. If you are in a party of 4 and the party leader starts the game, and the game has only 2 slots available, only two random players will be teleported into the game (sometimes even without the party leader).

2) Server sometimes doesn't teleport party members together while starting a Doubles game, it just teleports you with a random player in that same game.


3) Server commonly puts party members right next to each other in Solo games, making it seem like intentional teaming/encourage teaming or having to fight each other right at the start making the game not enjoyable.

Falling Velocity
4) Ender pearls don't negate falling velocity and it is applied when it teleports you where it lands giving you the full damage from that fall, which doesn't happen in vanilla Minecraft. This bug happens way too often and I think it should be fixed.

Flame Bow/Wizzard Perk Arrow Hits
5) Sometimes when you shoot with a flame bow or the arrow sets on fire from the wizard perk, the arrow appears to hit the player and set him on fire for like 1 tick but then the damage isn't applied and neither is the fire, it just disappears.

Timer Armor Stand Blocks Arrows
6) The timer that is above the chests after they are already opened blocks arrows from hitting a player. (Staff can test this in a game)

Potion Stacking
7) Potions don't seem to stack very well when you collect the same potion from a chest while already having some of it in your inventory. They are quite bugged to say the least. E.g. If you collect the potion without shift-clicking and put it over the same potion it sometimes combines, however they can unstack very easily while moving them to a different slot without using the hotkeys.

Bunny Boots & Beast Boots Buffs
8) Buffs/effects from the bunny boots & beast boots sometimes abruptly run out which sometimes result in the player dying. E.g. Beast boots slowness effect runs out abruptly and you speed up making you fall in the void by missing a jump (a similar example happens with the bunny boots too).


Spawner Cage Particles
9) The flame particles from the Spawner Cage stays throughout the whole game instead of disappearing with the cage itself, making it lag.
