-1 Bedwars is fun as it is, without ranks and if there were to be ranks, people would have advantages which would make the game unfair.

+1, Adding ranks is a really good idea if implemented correctly, such as the normal games should not be affected with ranks, but a new gamemode should be implemented on the bases of the ranks, i.e., "Ranked BedWars". But unlike that, normal ranks cam just be something to provide you cosmetics in the lobby and no ingame perks keeping the game from becoming unfair.
