I ak not a faction player but I know that in order to get good at bedwars you need to build fast bridges (ninja bridge) and rush.

Factions is all about the Value / Farming : Try joining a factions if any is recruiting ( First of all decide what you're good at for example : Pvp , Making bases / Designs etc ) Depending on that, check what skill is the faction recruiting etc or what videos about it on YouTube, helps a lot.

For Bedwars, it's all about the strategy on how to defend when you're getting rushed etc.
