Hey B Bigboygats , if you're asking whether or not players will be able to join Survival with 1.16.5 in the upcoming update where it'll be advanced to a newer version, then unfortunately the answer is no. You will not be able to play with 1.16.5. Let me know if this answers your question.

yea cuz the new reset will bring 1.17 update so you will not be able to join in lower versions.

Yes. The new reset supports only 1.17 and lower versions won't be able to connect to survival,.

You will just need to play latest version soon. But I know you have allready got that downloaded ! Although the new texture pack is quite strange.
