Problems with my new spawners

Hi guys, I traded to a player for some spawners to make a grinder. I also prepared a layer from cobblestones and woods so my mind wont fall down. But when I place the spawners, it doesnt spawn anything. Did I do something wrong. Pls help me. Thanks

A cow spawners and a pig spawner above the air, I did place some dirt blocks but they still arent spawning

You need to place the cow spawners and the pig spawners in front of gras ( they have to be near the grass so they can spawn )

Oh thanks. And I also have a wolf spawners but what does wolves drop when killed? And also ocelots or villagers too
