We are quite excited to be announcing the reset of the Prison gamemode. Prison has always been one of the player's favorite modes, so it's about time again it got a reset. For this reset, we added some new additions and expanded the existing features we already have to offer at Prison.
Prison is a gamemode filled with amazing features, and we are always trying to improve the existing ones as well. This reset you will see a lot of features you know receive some quality of life updates, as well as whole new things waiting for you to explore.
We happily and proudly announce that the official new Prison season will be launching on Friday, October 22nd, 2021.

End of the world
To celebrate the end of the season, we will be hosting an end of season event. At around 3 days before the release, we will be placing reset signs at spawn which you can click and claim a number of rewards; Free items, Free gkits, Millions of in-game money, Tons of free experience to level up your overpowered armor. Everyone will be able to finish their rankups because you can get everything for free. You can fight with everyone without the fear of losing your gear you have weeks to gather. So clearly this is the event everyone should participate in! Hop on prison and have fun!
Changelog
Here is the list of the changes made for this reset. I highly suggest you give a good read over all of these to make sure you are familiar with the most recent updates and are not missing out on important details.
New! Spawn
A new season means a new spawn. This season we decided to go with a popular theme, Money Heist. Will you and your gang be able to enter the bank at spawn and gain the valuable loot from within? We wish you the best of luck! The spawn is filled with useful NPCs showing information about all the features we have to offer at Prison.
New! VitalityA brand new way of receiving a boost has been added, Vitality. Vitality is the score on how well you are performing as a prison inmate. In order to keep up your vitality, you will need to sell drugs on a daily basis. Drugs have also been improved, but we will get to that later within this reset post.
Your vitality can differ from 80% up to 130%! This percentage is how effective all the currencies you earn are.
For example, if your vitality is at 130% you will receive a 30% increase on the money you earn from selling in mines, and the tokens & crystals you earn while mining, so also the tokens obtained from lucky blocks or treasure chests!
As you can see keeping up your vitality is quite important, because when it goes below 100% it means you will have the disadvantage, your earning will be less effective.
How to earn Vitality?
You can earn vitality by selling the daily needed amount of drugs at the Drugs Dealer.
How fast do I lose my Vitality?
Every hour you will lose 1% of your Vitality. This means you can go a little over 1 day without selling drugs, but after a little over 2 days you will be at the lowest vitality score, which is 80%. There's is room for a break from selling drugs but we won't recommend you to stop after 1 day!
Where can I see my Vitality?
You can simply view your vitality on the tab list, or above your inventory.
New! Gold Currency
Gold is a brand new currency of JartexNetwork, which will turn global soon!
From now on, you will be able to buy things directly inside the server at the new Store NPC. Instead of making transactions on the Webstore, all you need to do is transfer funds from the Webstore to the in-game store, and you are set - that is, until you spend it all!
Found on our current Webstore at store.jartexnetwork.com, you will be able to purchase Gold to be used in the In-Game Store.

New! Backpack EnchantsBackpacks are one of the core mechanics of the prison server. They have been around for quite some time and are in need of a good change. Backpacks will now be able to be enchanted as well! This will make upgrading your backpack much easier, as well as it will fit more in the current aesthetic feels the prison server has. The following enchants have been added to backpacks:
Capacity:
Upgrade the capacity of your backpack. You will no longer need to upgrade your backpack inside the /tokenshop, you can simply add this enchant to your backpack and the capacity will increase.
Auto Sell:
Auto Sell has been moved from the pickaxe to the backpack, as it affects your backpacks, the enchant will still be the same, just with a small buff on it.
Charmed:
A chance to add extra blocks to your backpack when mining.
You can start upgrading your backpack simply by shift-right clicking it while it is in your inventory. Just as you are used to do with your pickaxe.
New! Auto Miner SkinsA few new auto miner skins have been added, as well as the existing ones being fixed. We now have plenty of Auto Miner skins to offer for you to unlock. The new auto miner skins that got added are:
Robber:
Steals blocks around him to mine even faster.
Copper Golem:
The copper golem will shoot out pieces of explosive copper in order to break more blocks at once. We all love the copper golem and it will forever exist in our hearts.
Princess Peach:
Peach has left her world to join us at Prison. She will throw out a spinning crown like a boomerang to mine more blocks for you in style.
New! Chest Shop System
You can start managing your shop by right-clicking on a chest shop sign. This sign format is the same old as it always used to be.
When you clicked on your shop you will find a brand new menu with 3 options, Info, Advertise & Remove.
The info and remove option is exactly what you think it is, the info item shows information about your shop, and the remove item will remove your shop. However, a new feature is advertising.
/playershops is a new way to find shops from all players. Players will put up their item for sale, use an Advertise Coin and promote their shop within the shops menu. After your shop has expired advertising it will be removed from the highlighted shop menu.
New! Star CratesTwo seasons ago we introduced the Loot Boxes. This season the Loot Boxes will be replaced with Star Crates. These Star Crates contain 3 special rewards to boost your grinding even more. The crate works like a crate and will have a falling star animation to make opening these boxes even more fun. We also changed some rewards for the crates and added a new tier.
As a little reward for all the hard work you put you will now have a chance to find star crates whilst mining. More specifically, every 7,500 raw blocks you mine.
- Common Star Crate - 50% chance
- Rare Star Crate - 37.5% chance
- Epic Star Crate - 7.5% chance
- Legendary Star Crate - 5% chance
- Mythic Star Crate - 2% chance
- Astronomical Star Crate - 1% chance
New! Mine Suits
A total of two new minesuits have been added. The Moonstone Mine Suit & the Citrine Mine Suit.
The Moonstone Mine Suit will boost your drugs harvesting while mining.
The Citrine Mine Suit will boost the tokens received from luckyblocks and treasure chests when mining.
We also added Mine Suit upgrades, you can now level up your mine suit. Leveling up your minesuit will require you to find the gem of that minesuit for each level, and it will also cost you some crystals to unlock the next level.
The boosts of your minesuit levels:
Level 5: +5% extra tokens earned
Level 10: +5% extra money earned
Level 15: +5% extra crystals earned
Level 20: +5% extra enchant activation chance
Level 25: +5% extra luck on the pickaxe gems you open. This applies to the applying chance.
Updated! Mystery Man
This shady item dealer only appears during the weekend, this will still be the same, but the items he has to offer have been completely overhauled. From adding new items to removing some useless items. We also increased the total amount of sold items from 6 to 8. So what are you waiting for, go make some deals with this man, and explore the new available items.
Updated! Events
The treasure event is the only event we have right now, so it's about time to add some more. We added two new events that will happen during the week.
Maniac Miner:
The Maniac Miner will be activated at 4PM Servertime on Mondays. During this Manian Miner you will receive double the amount of minesuit resources while mining.
Updated! Drugs
Drugs have been improved. From now on drugs will reward you a 5% Vitality bonus on selling a full daily batch. Drug Dealer William is waiting for you hidden inside the spawn area.
High Demand.
Drugs has also been the same amount every day, to spice things up every day a few random drugs will have a high demand, making the amount needed to be sold increased by a small percentage.
Quinine Drug
A new drug has been added, the Quinine drug. You need no prestige to harvest this drug and a seed will cost you 10 tokens.
Quinine is sold in batches of 25, and weights 25g per batch. On a normal day you can sell 750g in total.
Updated! Pets
Pets have received an update as well. Pets are still obtained through the /tokenshop. But there is more for you to discover now. Some new items that you can find and/or purchase will allow you to upgrade your pet tier. This way if you get a Common pet from your mystery egg you will still be able to improve your pet to legendary tier in the end, how great is that?
We will also be adding Pet Feeding.
Each pet eats different custom crops that you will have to feed to your pet. If your pet is out of food it will be exhausted, and will no longer be able to provide you with a buff. Feed your pet every day to make sure it is in a perfect state, the more feeding you do the better your pet will be. If your pet hasn't been fed for over 16 hours it will be exhausted, your pet will no longer be activated when being exhausted.
Updated! Player Levels
Player levels are quite an amazing way for you to show your skills and overall dedication towards the game mode, we think it is a great way for you to grind, make progress, and be able to display that progress to the public, as well as having you grinding for a goal. This is why every season we make sure to re-work on the player levels to make the best fit for the season and make them more interesting for you to pursue. Having said this, we have added a ton of brand new player levels and rewards! Make sure to check them out typing /level.
Misc. Updates & ChangesMultiple small changes have been made, some of these small changes are the following:
- Fixed sonic autominer skin
- Fixed trading having exp offers
- Fixed auctionhouse messages
- Update chatcolor menu to show unlocked
- Fixed pets not always spawning
- Rebalanced prestige & donator mines luckyblocks percentage.

Questions & AnswersWhy does prison reset?
Prison is already up for some time. A reset has to happen to change and improve with lots of excellent new features, to make the game more exciting for you all! This then allows you players to have a fresh start and new players can begin to play without any significant disadvantage.
This means all cells, items, money and the map will be reset. Nothing will be kept leftover from the previous map. I know this must be a disappointing revelation for a lot of you, but think about the exciting new changes, the new alliances you can forge, the new map, the new features and updates the different kinds of gameplay, and style is provided with this update will surely make it a worth-while and exciting reset!
