Hello, dear JartexNetwork players!

A new prison season is right around the corner and filled with new features and updates. We are excited to tell you what we have in store for you.
So what are you waiting for? Read the post to find out!

We've dedicated time to balancing the foundation of the game mode by revisiting its roots, including adjusting the mines and enchantments and much more. With this change we want to make Prison a more stable gamemode in the long run, these balance changes were much needed.

We already offer plenty of extra aspects to further enhance your Prison experience, but with this new season, we know that we will be making Prison more enjoyable for many more seasons to come.

Below you can find most of the changes we have made and what has been added.
If there is however still something you want to change, feel free to mention it on this thread before its release, we can still consider making the change.

To celebrate the end of the season, we will be hosting an end of season event. Here is the list of the changes made for this reset. I highly suggest you give a good read over all of these to make sure you are familiar with the most recent updates and are not missing out on important details.​
🏆 Payouts! Gang Top Rewards
Gather up, recruit only the best Prison players out there, and start the grind for another season of Prison.​
This new season of prison we will have biweekly rewards for the top gangs!​
This will continue until the end of the season which will last exactly 6 weeks or 42 days.​
Every bi-weekly payout will end on a Friday, but the announcement and paying of Iron might be a day or two after that, the gang top will automatically be taken each Friday at 8 PM CET.​

🥳 New! Prison Prestiges

We will be looking at the core of the Prison gamemode, the progression system.​
The current A-Z ranks and prestiging system have been deemed ineffective and lack value. Therefore, we will be overhauling the ranking and prestiging system to bring balance and excitement to the game. Let's dive into the changes in prison ranks and prestige.​

We took the time to take a step back, have a closer look at the gamemode, and came to some conclusions and steps we need to take in order to move forward in the right direction for prison.​
🔤 Removing A-Z ranks
This change may seem unconventional, but it will ultimately benefit OpPrison. The current system of transitioning from letters to numbers in the ranks, with the letters having no additional value, doesn't make sense. The original purpose of grinding through the A-Z ranks was valid, but now it only showcases two different skill tiers. To simplify things, we have combined these tiers and renamed them as 'prestige,' as it is a familiar system.​
As a result, all A-Z mines will be removed. Additionally, the cost of each prestige has been adjusted to accurately reflect the difficulty level, and beacons will still be required.​

🤑 New prestige rewards
With this change, we also need to rebalance some of the rewards given with prestiging.​
This is why we will be making the following changes to prestige rewards:​

Sell multiplier: 0.05 per prestige.​
Tokens reward: 2,000 tokens per prestige.​
Crystals reward: 25 crystals per prestige.​
Prestige Keys: Every 5 prestiges.​

🎨 Prestige colors
Prestige colors are unlocked for all players and are automatically applied when you reach a certain prestige.​
You will need a GodFather or Kingpin rank to select the colors that you desire.​


🔨 New! Prestige Mines

With prestiging being the new way to rank up, we have added new mines to replace the former individual mines for each prestige.​
Prestiges will now be grouped into sections, each with its own set of mines. The design of these mines has also been revamped to enhance the overall mining experience.​

With the prestige system in place, we knew it was time to revamp the mines and their contents as well. Here is a list of all the new mines that you will find on our Prison server:​

The Chat Games will consist of two exciting challenges: Unscramble and Math.​

In the Unscramble game, players will need to unscramble a Minecraft-related word within 20 seconds.​

In the Math game, players will be given a mathematical equation to solve within 20 seconds.​

The fastest player to correctly answer each game will win a Chat Games Point and earn their place on the leaderboard.​

🐒 New! Pet Skins

Want to give your pet a new look? With the addition of pet skins, you now have the option.​
These skins can be earned in-game or purchased from the store or gold shop. Each season, new skins will be added and previous ones will become scarce, increasing their value over time. You can also trade your pet skins with others, making them a valuable commodity in the pursuit of becoming the top trader in Prison.​
Note that these skins are purely cosmetic and will not affect your pet's abilities or strength.​


🚔 Updated! Anti Cheat

After extensive testing, we are confident that this new anti-cheat is a huge improvement over its predecessor. With the updated system, you can expect a more fair and more enjoyable experience.​
The anti-cheat will be working more effectively and efficiently, ensuring that all players are playing on an even field.​
This means that cheating and exploiting will be a thing of the past, and you'll be able to enjoy the game as it is meant to be played.​

🔮 Updated! Pickaxe Enchantments
As part of the ongoing effort to balance the game, we have adjusted the prices of most of our custom pickaxe enchantments. Furthermore, we will be removing and modifying some enchantments to bring fresh excitement to the game.​
🗑️ Enchantments that will be removed.
Let's get started with the enchantments that we have removed.​
Speed - We have removed the speed enchantment to make place for more valuable enchantments, the speed effect can now be unlocked as a gang perk.​
Haste - This enchantment has been removed as it does not add any extra value to the high-efficiency levels of your pickaxe.​
Night Vision - This enchantment has been removed as it does not add any extra value since you get night vision everywhere.​
Drill Hammer - The enchant is just not good enough compared to what other enchantments do, so we decided to remove it.​
📈 Enchantments that have received a buff
Token Greed - The Token Greed enchantment will now also affect tokens from Lucky Blocks.​
Beacon Finder - Will now give 2 beacons every time instead of 1.​
If you think that's all, then wait! There is much more! We will be adding 2 new enchantments.​
The two new enchantments are:​
Prestige Finder
Lucky
A small chance to find prestige cost and prestige vouchers.
Max level: 2,500​
A chance to find lucky crates when mining. This is a new crate that contains a bunch of random rewards. You will earn two rewards per lucky crate.
Max level: 100​
These two new enchantments will cost crystals to upgrade rather than tokens, which adds some more variety to your saving up your currencies.​
You might be thinking, Lucky? That enchantment already exists! Well, you're right but we felt like the current state of the Lucky Enchantment is bad and we gave it a brand new change. On top of that, both of these rewards will go into your mail delivery rather than the previous logic of obtaining them when you sold your items.​
💸 Updated! Enchantment Prices
Earlier, we mentioned our efforts to balance and improve the overall gameplay experience. As part of that, we have revised the costs of pickaxe enchantments. Let's take a look at the modified prices. We noticed that the token output has become higher and higher each season, and with the changes to token greed and crates, we know it's about time to take a look at the pickaxe enchantments once again and rebalance some of the prices of these enchantments.​

The most popular enchantments have received either an increase or a small decrease in price, depending on the strength of the enchantment, with this change we feel like we can properly scale out your progression in a more even way rather than skyrocketing at the start.​

🏆 Updated! Pickaxe Prestige
Finally, we have also reviewed pickaxe prestige. Our original goal was to slow down progress, but this resulted in a bigger gap between players and a lack of interest in prestiging pickaxe.​
With the rebalancing of enchantment prices, we have decided to remove the feature of losing all enchantments upon prestiging. Pickaxe prestiging will still be required, but it will no longer strip your enchantments.​
With the introduction of Pickaxe Orbs, we have decided to lock these slots until you reach a certain pickaxe prestige.​
We will also be reintroducing pickaxe prestige 4 and making enchantments accessible based on your pickaxe prestige instead of your overall prestige rank.​

🏠 Updated! Private Mines
The Private Mines have been a staple in Prison for a while, so we are making some important updates. To start, we will no longer allow boosters to impact the tax on claims.​
This may come as a disappointment for players who frequently use Private Mines, but with the addition of beacons and upgradeable lucky blocks, we believe that these mines have enough value on their own. Allowing boosters to impact taxes has caused significant inflation in the economy and made the rich even richer. With these changes, we aim to regulate the growth of the economy and create a level playing field for all players.​

🌍 Private Mine Size
Next to the change of taxes and boosters, we will also be introducing the ability to upgrade your private mine size. Private mines will now come in 3 sizes, Small, Medium, and Large.​
You can unlock the Small private mine, simply by purchasing the private mine package in our store, or in the gold shop.​
Once you own a Private Mine you will be able to purchase upgrade tokens for your mine within the Gold Shop. You can choose to upgrade to a medium or a large mine. Once you have obtained this token you will be able to use it on one of your Private Mines. Once the token has been used your mine size will be upgraded.​

Multiple small changes have been made, some of these small changes are the following:​

📕Questions & Answers
Why does prison reset?
Prison is already up for some time. A reset has to happen to change and improve with lots of excellent new features, to make the game more exciting for you all! This then allows you players to have a fresh start and new players can begin to play without any significant disadvantage.
This means all cells, items, money and the map will be reset. Nothing will be kept leftover from the previous map. I know this must be a disappointing revelation for a lot of you, but think about the exciting new changes, the new alliances you can forge, the new map, the new features and updates the different kinds of gameplay, and style provided with this update will surely make it a worth-while and exciting reset!​

But this season kinda seems more taken care of.
Updated Anti Cheat, Fixed Capybara Abilities and finally the Developers have taken care of the Gladiator Pet that was a big problem for seasons!!

Hello, dear JartexNetwork players!

A new prison season is right around the corner and filled with new features and updates. We are excited to tell you what we have in store for you.
So what are you waiting for? Read the post to find out!

We've dedicated time to balancing the foundation of the game mode by revisiting its roots, including adjusting the mines and enchantments and much more. With this change we want to make Prison a more stable gamemode in the long run, these balance changes were much needed.

We already offer plenty of extra aspects to further enhance your Prison experience, but with this new season, we know that we will be making Prison more enjoyable for many more seasons to come.

Below you can find most of the changes we have made and what has been added.
If there is however still something you want to change, feel free to mention it on this thread before its release, we can still consider making the change.

🏆 Payouts! Gang Top Rewards
Gather up, recruit only the best Prison players out there, and start the grind for another season of Prison.​
This new season of prison we will have biweekly rewards for the top gangs!​
This will continue until the end of the season which will last exactly 6 weeks or 42 days.​
Every bi-weekly payout will end on a Friday, but the announcement and paying of Iron might be a day or two after that, the gang top will automatically be taken each Friday at 8 PM CET.​

🥳 New! Prison Prestiges

We will be looking at the core of the Prison gamemode, the progression system.​
The current A-Z ranks and prestiging system have been deemed ineffective and lack value. Therefore, we will be overhauling the ranking and prestiging system to bring balance and excitement to the game. Let's dive into the changes in prison ranks and prestige.​

We took the time to take a step back, have a closer look at the gamemode, and came to some conclusions and steps we need to take in order to move forward in the right direction for prison.​
🔤 Removing A-Z ranks
This change may seem unconventional, but it will ultimately benefit OpPrison. The current system of transitioning from letters to numbers in the ranks, with the letters having no additional value, doesn't make sense. The original purpose of grinding through the A-Z ranks was valid, but now it only showcases two different skill tiers. To simplify things, we have combined these tiers and renamed them as 'prestige,' as it is a familiar system.​
As a result, all A-Z mines will be removed. Additionally, the cost of each prestige has been adjusted to accurately reflect the difficulty level, and beacons will still be required.​

🤑 New prestige rewards
With this change, we also need to rebalance some of the rewards given with prestiging.​
This is why we will be making the following changes to prestige rewards:​

Sell multiplier: 0.05 per prestige.​
Tokens reward: 2,000 tokens per prestige.​
Crystals reward: 25 tokens per prestige.​
Prestige Keys: Every 5 prestiges.​

And crystal 25 is basiclly nothing 50 crystal or more

🎨 Prestige colors
Prestige colors are unlocked for all players and are automatically applied when you reach a certain prestige.​
You will need a GodFather or Kingpin rank to select the colors that you desire.​


🔨 New! Prestige Mines

With prestiging being the new way to rank up, we have added new mines to replace the former individual mines for each prestige.​
Prestiges will now be grouped into sections, each with its own set of mines. The design of these mines has also been revamped to enhance the overall mining experience.​

With the prestige system in place, we knew it was time to revamp the mines and their contents as well. Here is a list of all the new mines that you will find on our Prison server:​

🐒 New! Pet Skins

Want to give your pet a new look? With the addition of pet skins, you now have the option.​
These skins can be earned in-game or purchased from the store or gold shop. Each season, new skins will be added and previous ones will become scarce, increasing their value over time. You can also trade your pet skins with others, making them a valuable commodity in the pursuit of becoming the top trader in Prison.​
Note that these skins are purely cosmetic and will not affect your pet's abilities or strength.​

🚔 Updated! Anti Cheat

After extensive testing, we are confident that this new anti-cheat is a huge improvement over its predecessor. With the updated system, you can expect a more fair and more enjoyable experience.​
The anti-cheat will be working more effectively and efficiently, ensuring that all players are playing on an even field.​
This means that cheating and exploiting will be a thing of the past, and you'll be able to enjoy the game as it is meant to be played.​

🔮 Updated! Pickaxe Enchantments
As part of the ongoing effort to balance the game, we have adjusted the prices of most of our custom pickaxe enchantments. Furthermore, we will be removing and modifying some enchantments to bring fresh excitement to the game.​
🗑️ Enchantments that will be removed.
Let's get started with the enchantments that we have removed.​
Speed - We have removed the speed enchantment to make place for more valuable enchantments, the speed effect can now be unlocked as a gang perk.​
Haste - This enchantment has been removed as it does not add any extra value to the high-efficiency levels of your pickaxe.​
Night Vision - This enchantment has been removed as it does not add any extra value since you get night vision everywhere.​
Drill Hammer - The enchant is just not good enough compared to what other enchantments do, so we decided to remove it.​
📈 Enchantments that have received a buff
Token Greed - The Token Greed enchantment will now also affect tokens from Lucky Blocks.​
Beacon Finder - Will now give 2 beacons every time instead of 1.​
If you think that's all, then wait! There is much more! We will be adding 2 new enchantments.​
The two new enchantments are:​

Lucky
A small chance to find prestige cost and prestige vouchers.
Max level: 2,500​
A chance to find lucky crates when mining. This is a new crate that contains a bunch of random rewards. You will earn two rewards per lucky crate.
Max level: 100​
These two new enchantments will cost crystals to upgrade rather than tokens, which adds some more variety to your saving up your currencies.​
You might be thinking, Lucky? That enchantment already exists! Well, you're right but we felt like the current state of the Lucky Enchantment is bad and we gave it a brand new change. On top of that, both of these rewards will go into your mail delivery rather than the previous logic of obtaining them when you sold your items.​

💸 Updated! Enchantment Prices
Earlier, we mentioned our efforts to balance and improve the overall gameplay experience. As part of that, we have revised the costs of pickaxe enchantments. Let's take a look at the modified prices. We noticed that the token output has become higher and higher each season, and with the changes to token greed and crates, we know it's about time to take a look at the pickaxe enchantments once again and rebalance some of the prices of these enchantments.​

The most popular enchantments have received either an increase or a small decrease in price, depending on the strength of the enchantment, with this change we feel like we can properly scale out your progression in a more even way rather than skyrocketing at the start.​

🏆 Updated! Pickaxe Prestige
Finally, we have also reviewed pickaxe prestige. Our original goal was to slow down progress, but this resulted in a bigger gap between players and a lack of interest in prestiging pickaxe.​
With the rebalancing of enchantment prices, we have decided to remove the feature of losing all enchantments upon prestiging. Pickaxe prestiging will still be required, but it will no longer strip your enchantments.​
With the introduction of Pickaxe Orbs, we have decided to lock these slots until you reach a certain pickaxe prestige.​
We will also be reintroducing pickaxe prestige 4 and making enchantments accessible based on your pickaxe prestige instead of your overall prestige rank.​

🏠 Updated! Private Mines
The Private Mines have been a staple in Prison for a while, so we are making some important updates. To start, we will no longer allow boosters to impact the tax on claims.​
This may come as a disappointment for players who frequently use Private Mines, but with the addition of beacons and upgradeable lucky blocks, we believe that these mines have enough value on their own. Allowing boosters to impact taxes has caused significant inflation in the economy and made the rich even richer. With these changes, we aim to regulate the growth of the economy and create a level playing field for all players.​

🌍 Private Mine Size
Next to the change of taxes and boosters, we will also be introducing the ability to upgrade your private mine size. Private mines will now come in 3 sizes, Small, Medium, and Large.​
You can unlock the Small private mine, simply by purchasing the private mine package in our store, or in the gold shop.​
Once you own a Private Mine you will be able to purchase upgrade tokens for your mine within the Gold Shop. You can choose to upgrade to a medium or a large mine. Once you have obtained this token you will be able to use it on one of your Private Mines. Once the token has been used your mine size will be upgraded.​

📕Questions & Answers
Why does prison reset?
Prison is already up for some time. A reset has to happen to change and improve with lots of excellent new features, to make the game more exciting for you all! This then allows you players to have a fresh start and new players can begin to play without any significant disadvantage.
This means all cells, items, money and the map will be reset. Nothing will be kept leftover from the previous map. I know this must be a disappointing revelation for a lot of you, but think about the exciting new changes, the new alliances you can forge, the new map, the new features and updates the different kinds of gameplay, and style provided with this update will surely make it a worth-while and exciting reset!​

Lacks alot of creativity since more then half of them are exactly from pika and chat game is somewhat unique
The changes that you made to the mines will be very insane if it is for this eco

And if this eco is basiclly pika eco the ranks also should receive a buff in terms of luckyblocks

Hello, dear JartexNetwork players!

A new prison season is right around the corner and filled with new features and updates. We are excited to tell you what we have in store for you.
So what are you waiting for? Read the post to find out!

We've dedicated time to balancing the foundation of the game mode by revisiting its roots, including adjusting the mines and enchantments and much more. With this change we want to make Prison a more stable gamemode in the long run, these balance changes were much needed.

We already offer plenty of extra aspects to further enhance your Prison experience, but with this new season, we know that we will be making Prison more enjoyable for many more seasons to come.

Below you can find most of the changes we have made and what has been added.
If there is however still something you want to change, feel free to mention it on this thread before its release, we can still consider making the change.

🏆 Payouts! Gang Top Rewards
Gather up, recruit only the best Prison players out there, and start the grind for another season of Prison.​
This new season of prison we will have biweekly rewards for the top gangs!​
This will continue until the end of the season which will last exactly 6 weeks or 42 days.​
Every bi-weekly payout will end on a Friday, but the announcement and paying of Iron might be a day or two after that, the gang top will automatically be taken each Friday at 8 PM CET.​

🥳 New! Prison Prestiges

We will be looking at the core of the Prison gamemode, the progression system.​
The current A-Z ranks and prestiging system have been deemed ineffective and lack value. Therefore, we will be overhauling the ranking and prestiging system to bring balance and excitement to the game. Let's dive into the changes in prison ranks and prestige.​

We took the time to take a step back, have a closer look at the gamemode, and came to some conclusions and steps we need to take in order to move forward in the right direction for prison.​
🔤 Removing A-Z ranks
This change may seem unconventional, but it will ultimately benefit OpPrison. The current system of transitioning from letters to numbers in the ranks, with the letters having no additional value, doesn't make sense. The original purpose of grinding through the A-Z ranks was valid, but now it only showcases two different skill tiers. To simplify things, we have combined these tiers and renamed them as 'prestige,' as it is a familiar system.​
As a result, all A-Z mines will be removed. Additionally, the cost of each prestige has been adjusted to accurately reflect the difficulty level, and beacons will still be required.​

🤑 New prestige rewards
With this change, we also need to rebalance some of the rewards given with prestiging.​
This is why we will be making the following changes to prestige rewards:​

Sell multiplier: 0.05 per prestige.​
Tokens reward: 2,000 tokens per prestige.​
Crystals reward: 25 tokens per prestige.​
Prestige Keys: Every 5 prestiges.​

🎨 Prestige colors
Prestige colors are unlocked for all players and are automatically applied when you reach a certain prestige.​
You will need a GodFather or Kingpin rank to select the colors that you desire.​


🔨 New! Prestige Mines

With prestiging being the new way to rank up, we have added new mines to replace the former individual mines for each prestige.​
Prestiges will now be grouped into sections, each with its own set of mines. The design of these mines has also been revamped to enhance the overall mining experience.​

With the prestige system in place, we knew it was time to revamp the mines and their contents as well. Here is a list of all the new mines that you will find on our Prison server:​

Chat Games will now be running every 30 minutes and each win earns you a Chat Games Point which can be redeemed in the new /chatgames shop.​

The Chat Games will consist of two exciting challenges: Unscramble and Math.​

In the Unscramble game, players will need to unscramble a Minecraft-related word within 20 seconds.​

In the Math game, players will be given a mathematical equation to solve within 20 seconds.​

The fastest player to correctly answer each game will win a Chat Games Point and earn their place on the leaderboard.​

🐒 New! Pet Skins

Want to give your pet a new look? With the addition of pet skins, you now have the option.​
These skins can be earned in-game or purchased from the store or gold shop. Each season, new skins will be added and previous ones will become scarce, increasing their value over time. You can also trade your pet skins with others, making them a valuable commodity in the pursuit of becoming the top trader in Prison.​
Note that these skins are purely cosmetic and will not affect your pet's abilities or strength.​


🚔 Updated! Anti Cheat

After extensive testing, we are confident that this new anti-cheat is a huge improvement over its predecessor. With the updated system, you can expect a more fair and more enjoyable experience.​
The anti-cheat will be working more effectively and efficiently, ensuring that all players are playing on an even field.​
This means that cheating and exploiting will be a thing of the past, and you'll be able to enjoy the game as it is meant to be played.​

🔮 Updated! Pickaxe Enchantments
As part of the ongoing effort to balance the game, we have adjusted the prices of most of our custom pickaxe enchantments. Furthermore, we will be removing and modifying some enchantments to bring fresh excitement to the game.​
🗑️ Enchantments that will be removed.
Let's get started with the enchantments that we have removed.​
Speed - We have removed the speed enchantment to make place for more valuable enchantments, the speed effect can now be unlocked as a gang perk.​
Haste - This enchantment has been removed as it does not add any extra value to the high-efficiency levels of your pickaxe.​
Night Vision - This enchantment has been removed as it does not add any extra value since you get night vision everywhere.​
Drill Hammer - The enchant is just not good enough compared to what other enchantments do, so we decided to remove it.​
📈 Enchantments that have received a buff
Token Greed - The Token Greed enchantment will now also affect tokens from Lucky Blocks.​
Beacon Finder - Will now give 2 beacons every time instead of 1.​
If you think that's all, then wait! There is much more! We will be adding 2 new enchantments.​
The two new enchantments are:​
Prestige Finder
Lucky
A small chance to find prestige cost and prestige vouchers.
Max level: 2,500​
A chance to find lucky crates when mining. This is a new crate that contains a bunch of random rewards. You will earn two rewards per lucky crate.
Max level: 100​
These two new enchantments will cost crystals to upgrade rather than tokens, which adds some more variety to your saving up your currencies.​
You might be thinking, Lucky? That enchantment already exists! Well, you're right but we felt like the current state of the Lucky Enchantment is bad and we gave it a brand new change. On top of that, both of these rewards will go into your mail delivery rather than the previous logic of obtaining them when you sold your items.​
💸 Updated! Enchantment Prices
Earlier, we mentioned our efforts to balance and improve the overall gameplay experience. As part of that, we have revised the costs of pickaxe enchantments. Let's take a look at the modified prices. We noticed that the token output has become higher and higher each season, and with the changes to token greed and crates, we know it's about time to take a look at the pickaxe enchantments once again and rebalance some of the prices of these enchantments.​

The most popular enchantments have received either an increase or a small decrease in price, depending on the strength of the enchantment, with this change we feel like we can properly scale out your progression in a more even way rather than skyrocketing at the start.​

🏆 Updated! Pickaxe Prestige
Finally, we have also reviewed pickaxe prestige. Our original goal was to slow down progress, but this resulted in a bigger gap between players and a lack of interest in prestiging pickaxe.​
With the rebalancing of enchantment prices, we have decided to remove the feature of losing all enchantments upon prestiging. Pickaxe prestiging will still be required, but it will no longer strip your enchantments.​
With the introduction of Pickaxe Orbs, we have decided to lock these slots until you reach a certain pickaxe prestige.​
We will also be reintroducing pickaxe prestige 4 and making enchantments accessible based on your pickaxe prestige instead of your overall prestige rank.​

🏠 Updated! Private Mines
The Private Mines have been a staple in Prison for a while, so we are making some important updates. To start, we will no longer allow boosters to impact the tax on claims.​
This may come as a disappointment for players who frequently use Private Mines, but with the addition of beacons and upgradeable lucky blocks, we believe that these mines have enough value on their own. Allowing boosters to impact taxes has caused significant inflation in the economy and made the rich even richer. With these changes, we aim to regulate the growth of the economy and create a level playing field for all players.​

🌍 Private Mine Size
Next to the change of taxes and boosters, we will also be introducing the ability to upgrade your private mine size. Private mines will now come in 3 sizes, Small, Medium, and Large.​
You can unlock the Small private mine, simply by purchasing the private mine package in our store, or in the gold shop.​
Once you own a Private Mine you will be able to purchase upgrade tokens for your mine within the Gold Shop. You can choose to upgrade to a medium or a large mine. Once you have obtained this token you will be able to use it on one of your Private Mines. Once the token has been used your mine size will be upgraded.​
📬 Misc. Updates & Changes
Multiple small changes have been made, some of these small changes are the following:​

Why does prison reset?
Prison is already up for some time. A reset has to happen to change and improve with lots of excellent new features, to make the game more exciting for you all! This then allows you players to have a fresh start and new players can begin to play without any significant disadvantage.
This means all cells, items, money and the map will be reset. Nothing will be kept leftover from the previous map. I know this must be a disappointing revelation for a lot of you, but think about the exciting new changes, the new alliances you can forge, the new map, the new features and updates the different kinds of gameplay, and style provided with this update will surely make it a worth-while and exciting reset!​

What will I lose?
  • Your cells.
  • All items in your inventory and ender chest.
  • Any currencies such as money and exp
  • Chatcolor permissions.
  • Seasonal ranks and perks.
  • Premium Level Pass & Player Levels
  • Level bracket colors.
  • Prestiges.
What will I keep?
  • Purchased Ranks & Rank Upgrades.
  • Purchased Perks.
  • Won out of crates commands/ranks.

Gotta be honest, idk how to feel about making this an all prestige system, unless I calculate the above prices, it seems like the high prestiges may have lost significant value as opposed to previous seasons.
Chat games sounds like a strange public microgame, idk how impactful this will be, as I'm not seeing anything too promising.
The zillionth tine the anti-cheat has been updated, I will cry if it works anything like SBD's anti-cheats(banned for client mod, aka false lag).
On one hand with removing the speed enchant, no more easy runners and speed will be available to people in gangs or with smuggler, on the other hand it also makes mobility hard for those going for the PvP mine or Soul Cave. The other enchants though were ok to remove since they were pointless, I also appreciate making the items from enchants go to the delivery because with the treasures it was very annoying having to pick up keys that fall out as I mine.
Speaking of which, now the treasure enchants are so much harder to get with this new prestige system, pickaxe levels are now a factor.
Nerfed pvp pet damage again? Why not just change the perk so people can stop whining. iSixez posted a suggestion board and in it, he mentioned a good perk to replace deflect damage with would be absorption that bolsters our defense.
Thank you for fixing Omnitool, I couldn't stand seeing more people ruining their hard forged pickaxes with a broken scroll.

This is a really difficult log to judge because we have been used to the same system for long, Idk what to think about the big changes to progression, I just hope it doesn't make Prison feel either straight impossible or unbelievably easy.
(Also, we are getting wandering traders soon right?)

This change may seem unconventional, but it will ultimately benefit OpPrison. The current system of transitioning from letters to numbers in the ranks, with the letters having no additional value, doesn't make sense. The original purpose of grinding through the A-Z ranks was valid, but now it only showcases two different skill tiers. To simplify things, we have combined these tiers and renamed them as 'prestige,' as it is a familiar system.As a result, all A-Z mines will be removed. Additionally, the cost of each prestige has been adjusted to accurately reflect the difficulty level, and beacons will still be required.

Sell multiplier: 0.05 per prestige.Tokens reward: 2,000 tokens per prestige.Crystals reward: 25 tokens per prestige.Prestige Keys: Every 5 prestiges.
Tentative "bad, no". Depends on how Prestiges will replace the A-Z mines and beyond (how will the new mines' prices scale?)
- Crystals were never an incentive
- Sell multiplier is now lower for each prestige (+.1 --> +.05 per prestige), which will potentially affect non-gkit and unranked players.
- Tokens are nice.
- Prestige keys will presumably replace Rankup keys? Will the chest rewards be affected? Will the Rankup Voucher item be changed? Unsure about how to rate this, it seems like an attempt to stop top players from progressing too fast, which is good. Then again, I can't say much good about Prestige keys right now.
🎨 Prestige colorsPrestige colors are unlocked for all players and are automatically applied when you reach a certain prestige.You will need a GodFather or Kingpin rank to select the colors that you desire.
A little unclear, do you mean this:
- Prestige colors will be awarded at Prestige Level Milestones. All colors can be obtained through Prestige Milestones, with colors being automatically applied as they are unlocked. GodFather and Kingpin rank players can change their active color to another one they've already unlocked
🔨 New! Prestige Mines
This is interesting, Beacons will no longer be 'restricted' to the Pvpmine and Private Mines - Mining at the PvpMine is probably more efficient (as is the Beacon Finder enchantment Beacon Finder is now locked at Pick Prestige 3), but it's still something. I kind of like how the Lucky Block rarity/mine increases. No word on how Donator Mines will be changed - I honestly wouldn't mind them not having Beacons.

Haste - This enchantment has been removed as it does not add any extra value to the high-efficiency levels of your pickaxe.
It actually does affect my Jackhammer mining method + mining while flying. Guess I'll cry 🤷.
These two new enchantments will cost crystals to upgrade rather than tokens, which adds some more variety to your saving up your currencies.You might be thinking, Lucky? That enchantment already exists! Well, you're right but we felt like the current state of the Lucky Enchantment is bad and we gave it a brand new change. On top of that, both of these rewards will go into your mail delivery rather than the previous logic of obtaining them when you sold your items.
So it won't activate only upon talking to a Mine NPC? The rewards will be kept the same? Here's hoping it gets some usage.

The Private Mines have been a staple in Prison for a while, so we are making some important updates. To start, we will no longer allow boosters to impact the tax on claims.
(Does this address the famous "self-tax" meta? If it does, pog. If not, sad gamer momento - Idk tbh)
This is a massive change that'll likely affect gtop as is. Rip visitors that used boosters to farm cash at pmines though. Reading fail: Boosters still work when selling to a pmine, you just can't boost tax claims. So this only affects the pmine owner, not visitors.

Next to the change of taxes and boosters, we will also be introducing the ability to upgrade your private mine size. Private mines will now come in 3 sizes, Small, Medium, and Large.You can unlock the Small private mine, simply by purchasing the private mine package in our store, or in the gold shop.Once you own a Private Mine you will be able to purchase upgrade tokens for your mine within the Gold Shop. You can choose to upgrade to a medium or a large mine. Once you have obtained this token you will be able to use it on one of your Private Mines. Once the token has been used your mine size will be upgraded.

Donator mines now have a small extra sell multiplier, the higher the rank the better.
The "small" part interests me. Small as in all ranks will have a multiplier bonus lower than what we have now? Or small as in "what they had was small enough, no one will read the changelog anyways".
With the sell booster per prestige cut down by half, and presumably higher prestiges being harder to get, this can even the scales between ranked and unranked/ssnal ranked players. By which I mean all players will start off a little worse than before, and anyone with a progression booster will speed out of the early grind. :d

- Please work on giving each individual pet + pet rarity a small lore blurb describing how they can earn EXP. It's currently unclear how to level up some pets. For example: Tarantula pet gains EXP at all 3 rarities (common, rare, legendary) by mining Lucky Blocks. However, the Capybara pet earns exp from Keys only at common and Rare rarities, but also from Lucky Blocks at Legendary rarity.
-- The Wizard pet works very different to all other pets. How is it supposd to earn exp, now that its "level up bug" was fixed?
