A new prison season is right around the corner and filled with new features and updates.
We are excited to tell you what we have in store for you. So what are you waiting for? Read the post to find out!

It is almost time for the most wonderful time of the year, Christmas, so Prison will be going full-on Christmas mode with this reset.
Not only that, but we will also be giving you some amazing new features and balance changes.

End of the world​

To celebrate the end of the season, we will be hosting an end-of-season event. At around 3 days before the release, we will be placing reset signs at spawn which you can click and claim a number of rewards; Free items, Free gkits, Millions of in-game money, and Tons of free experience to level up your overpowered armor. Everyone will be able to finish their rank-ups because you can get everything for free. You can fight with everyone without the fear of losing your gear you have weeks to gather. So clearly this is the event everyone should participate in! Hop in prison and have fun!​

New! Spawn​

In a winter wonderland city, sparkling with festive lights, a joyful Christmas spawn arises, ready to spread holiday cheer and mystery.​

Led by a jolly Santa figure, with a team of clever elves and cheerful reindeer, they prepare a season of wonder and surprises.​

Are you eager to dive into this winter fantasy, joining a merry quest to discover hidden gifts and festive delights scattered throughout the snow-covered cityscape?​

The PVP arena contains outposts again that you can capture with your gang.​

Looking for some help? There are plenty of NPCs explaining all the features.​

It's time to dive into an exhilarating update that will ignite your inner explorer.​

Get ready to embark on a quest like never before, as we introduce the all-new Quest System.​

A replacement for Player Levels.​

The new Quest System is changing the game. Instead of getting higher levels, players will now complete quests.​

This makes the game more fun and interesting, with new stories and adventures.​

What are quests?​

You have the opportunity to purchase quests from the Quest Shop! The number of quests available may vary depending on your rank.​

Once you've acquired your quests that can be bought from the Quests NPC, you'll have a limited window of time to prove yourself by completing challenging tasks.​

But that's not all! You can view all potential tasks and rewards, though you'll be assigned one at random based on the rarity that you purchase.​

How to purchase quests?​

As mentioned before, you can purchase these from the Quest Shop, there are 5 different tiers, Common, Rare, Epic, Legendary, and Mythical.​

The higher the tier, the bigger the costs, the harder the quest, but the better the rewards!​

New! Pickaxe Abilities​

Get ready for an exciting new feature - Pickaxe Abilities! These special abilities are here to supercharge your gaming experience.​

Now, with every pickaxe you get from loot crates or earn through our brand-new events, and the token shop!​

These abilities will unlock powerful boosts for specific currencies.​

Each pickaxe comes with its unique ability, giving you an edge in your quest for riches.​

New! Events​

We are thrilled to announce a fantastic new feature - Events, happening five times a week!​

These events are not just any ordinary in-game activities; they are major, community-centered happenings designed to bring everyone together for unforgettable experiences.​

​

Each week, you'll have five unique opportunities to dive into specially crafted events that promise fun, challenges, and rewards. Whether you're a solo player or a team enthusiast, something is exciting for everyone. These events are a perfect way to connect with fellow players, compete in friendly battles, and make lasting memories.​

These events are held in their world and can be entered by hopping into the Event Portal located in the PvP arena. This portal will open up for three minutes when the event starts, after 3 minutes you are no longer able to enter the event that is going on.​

These events are a battle until the end, the events where PvP is enabled are a risk, as it's a one-way ticket, to survive till the end. Almost all commands are disabled within these worlds, adding excitement to these events and making a win feel like something you will remember.​

4 brand new events have been added for this season, and these events are:​

Stronghold!​

The Stronghold is essentially KOTH but on a larger scale.​

You and your gang can enter the Stronghold and capture it for a great reward.​

Once you have entered the Stronghold, the only way out is hiding, dying, or winning the Stronghold.​

PvP is enabled within this event.​

​

Envoys!​

You'll spawn into a vast room brimming with supply crates, each filled with exciting loot.​

Your mission? Gather as much treasure as you can in 15 minutes. But here's the twist - there's no single winner in this challenge.​

When the 15 minutes are up, a portal will open, offering you a one-way ticket out of the room with all your gathered goods.​

PvP is enabled within this event.​

​

Boss Battle!​

In this epic showdown, you'll face off against an incredibly powerful boss.​

Only the top three players who deal the most damage and remain standing until the end will be crowned the winners of the Boss Battle.​

​

Dungeons!​

In the Dungeons, you'll encounter mobs with formidable health. As you navigate the labyrinthine passages, keep an eye out for a special drop place.​

Hidden in a random location within the dungeon, this spot holds a coveted item, different every single time.​

PvP is enabled within this event.​

New! Fruit Harvester Hoe​

Say hello to the Fruit Harvester Hoe, the newest addition to your toolkit, set to revolutionize your experience.​

This innovative hoe is not just any ordinary tool - it's specifically designed to replace the pickaxe enchantments related to fruit.​

How to get the Fruit Harvester Hoe?​

To get your hands on this incredible tool, you'll need a bit of luck.​

The Fruit Harvester Hoe will occasionally appear in the token shop, so keep an eye out for your chance to grab it.​

Upgrading your Fruit Harvester Hoe involves enchantment books, which are crucial for enhancing its capabilities. You can purchase these books and apply different levels of enchantments to your hoe, making it even more powerful and suited to your needs.​

Updated! Pickaxe Enchantments​

We've made some big changes to the enchantments for pickaxes in our game. We wanted to make things simpler and more balanced for everyone.​

​

First, we removed some enchantments. This makes it easier for you to understand and choose the best ones for your game. Now, picking an enchantment will be much clearer and more straightforward.​

​

We also changed the prices of the enchantments we kept. Our goal was to make the prices fairer so that everyone could afford them and they matched how useful they were in the game.​

Updated! Fruit​

We're pleased to announce a valuable update to fruit harvesting in our game. Recognizing the effort and time you invest in harvesting fruits, we've added an extra reward to enhance your gaming experience.​

Earn experience while harvesting!​

Now, for every fruit you mine, you'll earn a bit of experience.​

This means that every swipe of your hoe is not just about collecting fruits, but also about advancing your overall game progress.​

​

Rebalanced the prestige required​

For the longest time the prestige for these fruits was still set to our old prestige system, so for this season we have finally decided to rebalance which fruit you can harvest with which prestige.​

Updated! Crates​

We've made some big changes to our crates. We realized that our game's economy was leaning too much towards keys, and for good reasons.​

​

Before, some keys gave out rewards that were even better than those from a higher rarity key. We've seen this issue and decided to fix it this season. We took the time to completely adjust the crates so that now, their rewards truly match what they're meant to be.​

​

All crates have received an rebalance​

The Crates has undergone a massive overhaul and all the rewards have been completely reworked. Get ready to experience a brand new level of excitement as you explore the updated rewards.​

We've added a wide range of new, rare items that are sure to impress and keep the fan favorites that everyone loves.​

Updated! EXP Shop​

We've updated the EXP Shop, and it's all about adding more excitement and challenge to the game!​

​

Now, when you buy enchantment books from the EXP Shop, they'll give you a random enchantment level, instead of always being the maximum level. This change makes building your ideal set of tools and gear a bit more challenging, but also a lot more interesting.​

​

With this new system, players who invest time and effort to gain experience will have a better chance of getting higher-level enchantments.​

​

Misc. Updates & Changes​

Multiple minor changes have been made, some of these small changes are the following:​

Removed boosters from the gold shop.​

Added a broadcast for when a coinflip game has ended.​

Removed coinflip taxes.​

Made linking your Discord account a requirement to place inmates.​

Nerfed the resource pet.​

Added a new seasonal crate.​

Added a new seasonal loot crate.​

Added a message for when you can claim a new milestone.​

Updated the milestone rewards.​

Fixed! Bugs​

We did our best to polish and fix as many existing bugs inside the Prison server.​

We have looked through all the bug reports and managed to fix them. If you come across any bugs with the new release, make sure to report them at our forums under the bug reports section.​

Questions & Answers​

Why does prison reset?​

​

Prison is already up for some time. A reset has to happen to change and improve with lots of excellent new features, to make the game more exciting for you all! This then allows you players to have a fresh start and new players can begin to play without any significant disadvantage.​

​

This means all cells, items, money and the map will be reset. Nothing will be kept leftover from the previous map. I know this must be a disappointing revelation for a lot of you, but think about the exciting new changes, the new alliances you can forge, the new map, the new features and updates the different kinds of gameplay, and style provided with this update will surely make it a worth-while and exciting reset!​

Interesting bunch of changes, I wonder if the Supply Crate items will be affected by the new Envoys event.

The Experience Soul Enchant on a Harvesting Hoe would be amazing. Amazingly broken. But a new Exp source is great with the xpshop changes.

I'm rather mixed on the Quests part, I haven't played factions but I recognize that feature from that game. I wish it didn't replace the Player Levels though since I like the 2nd linear progression path aside from prestiging. It provided incentive into completing tasks on a consistent basis for different rewards even unranked players wouldn't normal get. Besides, we had a feature like this in the past with the Quest Giver, this just seems like an upgraded/glorified version of that.

So ONLY pickaxes from Loot Crates(the Goldshop ones?), the events, and token shop can generate with a buff? I think the pickaxes obtained from the Pickaxe Gkit should have this feature too, the pickaxe from the seasonal crate should spawn with 2 perks on it instead of 1, and the token shop pickaxe should only spawn with the token buff.

Aside from the name of the feature "events" being reused for the 5th time, I like the idea of the latter two events. How many different bosses are there? How many new mobs? Are they all Zombies or varied mob types? And do the items they protect actually serve a big purpose?

Rip Treasure Hunter, that wasn't a useless enchantment, it gave us more loot from the treasures we find.

I love the idea of the harvester hoe(that is essentially what I came up with in my suggestion), but where do we buy the books from?

I don't recall the weaker crates like the Vote and Rare crates giving anything better than the Ultra and God crates. The Rare crates just became more popular lately because we are able to obtain Ultra and God crates from them now when we couldn't in the past, but for the most part their rewards are the same as before. I can't deny the first point though that we were becoming reliant on keys, although beacons still beat that out for the purposes they serve.

Good for the exp shop, so now people can't make max sets too easily now.

Figured boosters would be removed from the Goldshop since they were barely bought anyway.
We now have to link our account to place inmates? I am actually glad this was implemented since having multiple alts with a loadout of max inmates would seriously trivialize certain features.
Also I appreciate a notification being added for the milestones, because it's annoying to forget about it and discover that you completed it like 2 hours ago, and the block chain doesn't stack up overtime into completing the next & later milestones.

Not that big of an update this time. Still, Player levels are fun to have I don't know why it will be removed and replaced with quest it's not broken or anything. And m I wrong or will you guys bring back Pickaxe Crates? It will be better to bring it back because of the new Pickaxe Abilities, if I'm not wrong we can have 5 max pickaxes with those specific abilities like if we want to grind beacons we will use the Beacon Boost Pickaxe, same with the other Abilities, so I hope you will bring the Pickaxe Crates back like in your other server (PikaNetwork)
