BedWars Need help with /party

I made a party with a friend of mine by doing the /party invite name and we get in the same lobby, but not the same team? Help needed.

Make sure to don't be in an other game before you warp him.

Means party him when you are in lobby and then join a game. Hopefully this helps .

It happens if u play in the latest versions like 1.16 , try playing in 1.8.9 (this is for all the partymates u wanna play with)
