I've seen people able to have armor piece with all kinds of Protections together in one piece of armor. When i briefly asked someone ingame, they told me they did it through mending books. Then i tried merging a book (protection 4, mending) with a book (Fire Protection 4, mending) it didn't work and all it gave me was one of the two with mending. I sadly didn't have many mending books to keep testing so i thought i'd ask here how people do it.
Thank you,

Regards,

All you need to do is combine the enchant you want to add with mending onto a single book, and then drag and drop this book with mending + the enchant you want onto the weapon, tool or armour piece of your choice.

Doesn't need to be only mending. You can also try using unb3 books/thorns3/fireaspect/knock back/looting and probably more that I don't remember.
