Maps Are So Big

why bedwars maps are so big. like some maps its just like bruh it takes 64 blocks to rush another island
The developers or builders should really make maps a little bit smaller.
but not gonna lie the big maps are so good and well designed but like its not good for bedwars
i personally think they should make maps smaller
is it just me or you guys have issues with it too?
