Make the permanent night-vision toggleable

Yeah the permanent night vision is very nice to have since it solves a lot of inconveniences, it does have some drawbacks like if you make a nice looking base you won't be able to see its proper lighting from light sources instead just one bright room from the night vision. Having a toggleable night vision would be very nice and helpful in my opinion.

I agree completely. I always keep a few buckets of milk on me and drink to clear the effect. It will return whenever that speedup thing happens to the whole server (fireworks jump boost thing) so it's kind of toggleable. Night vision ruins my experience. It's nice when I'm exploring in the nether, but when I'm lighting up a cave or expanding my base, it's broken as hell.

BTW I forgot about this and discovered it accidentally and was so happy when the world went dark. Would probably not still be playing this server if I hadn't figured that out. Night and day cycle is a feature of Minecraft, not a bug, but I think it probably helps performance, as there's less client side light updates that have to be processed.
