After we had multiple karaoke events on our Discord server, a lot of the participants and members of the community messaged us pointing that the current voting system is lacking and needs to be improved. As you know, we are always listening your opinions, and therefore we opened this thread especially for you, dear player of JartexNetwork.

Suggest your ideas here, in the comments section, on how the voting system should work and we will come back in couple of days/weeks with a solution that hopefully will make the event better and your demands pleased.

Be aware that any off-topic messages will be removed from this thread!

Any voting system that can't be abused with people changing their IP & voting again , you could make a thread on the forums and give each contestant an emoji that people can vote on, but only accept votes from forum accounts that are 3+days old so there aren't any bots.

Hmmm maybe after the karaoke is done you send a link with the names of all the winners and the person clicks on the links and he/she may only vote for 1 person and then click submit.

Can easily be bypassed with vpn's plus strawpoll was there once and got removed because it was being abused.

I sugges you to make a form that you have only some minutes(for examlpe 3-5 minutes) to vote and why they want to vote that person

What about a discord poll bot then? They can't be abused & is very easy to use.

when all the participants finish singing u lock the karaoke chat and u add all the emojis with the names of the participants and then you unlock the channel and use the command @here to let them know that they can vote for 5min it will be fair

We already are using a poll system by reactions but it's unfair by various reasons such as, as adding the reactions people can abuse the system by using alts, all the reactions can't be added at the same time which means people would click the first one and the one that is pressed the most and It's not fair by other reasons.
