what is island shards can i know because i am new and how can i obtain them

If you go into /is you can see different island challenges and when you finish them you get shards and shards can be used in /is upgrade to get different upgrades for your island.

Don't worry here I will give you the answer

Shards!
Shards are here to upgrade our island size spawners placed and much more you can search at /is upgrades.

You can get them by grinding or doing other challenges on /is missions like people said above.
