BedWars Is using autoclickers bannable?

I was just wondering if using autoclickers to maybe stay AFK or improve PvP was bannable. I am asking this question because I have a friend who uses autocliker in solo bedwars and he got banned and another friend of mine uses autoclickers for months and hasn't been banned yet.

Autoclickers are strictly against the rules.

yea autoclickers are against the rules and even if he did not get banned he will get banned by console sometime if he is not bypassing the anticheat.
